As someone that has grown up surrounded by beaches and done surf life saving, I know how the sea works. Lots of people dont. Every summer multiple tourists die here because they don’t respect the sea, if you’re going to the coast, here’s a thing I saw on Facebook.

These are not unique to the sea btw. Rip tides are also a danger in other large bodies of water, like the Great Lakes
I had heard of rip tides, but I would never have guessed they were the calm-looking part. If I had been looking for a safe space to wade, I would have avoided all of the white parts (turbulent! terrifying!) and gone straight for the rip.
lake michigan has rip tides and strong currents and also the highest kill count of all of them because people think of superior and huron as The Scary Ones. lake michigan has beautiful beaches along very big cities, and eats tourists like popcorn. do not underestimate lakes, but particularly not the great lakes.

going to comment a little on this game: the overseeing voice talks as if it owns you, and defies your free will. if you follow its orders, you are praised, and the worldview becomes sharper and more detailed. if you don’t, you are chastised, and the world becomes more vague and difficult to navigate, but also more colourful and loud. it’s odd, and sort of eerie, but definitely interesting. take it as you will.

This game really unsettles me. It unsttles me that my first choice to obey, and when I played again and disobeyed, I got really emotional really fast. Failure hurt me more the more I disobeyed. It was… interesting to experience.

So, essentially, it’s a game that illustrates what it’s like to be in an abusive parents or an abusive relationship - and how it affects you emotionally. That is horrific and ingenious - the next time someone negates the affects of emotional abuse, I’ll take them to this game and let them come to their own conclusions.
This game absolutely gets it. The most solid and reliable degradation is a gendered insult. The more you obey and co-operate, the better understanding you seem to have of your word, and things seem easier. But what really gets me is the contradiction. You are not allowed to have the correct answer. Are you a boy or a girl? The answer is no, I will give you the answer. even towards the end, your “praise” is “no, I will give you the answer. You earned this answer, but it is given to you by me.” Disobeying makes the world frightening and confusing and difficult, but beautiful in a world devoid of flavour.

It's not really a talent though to post AI, so I refuse to interact with 'your work'. You should learn how to draw just like everybody else used to before AI came. Using AI is making fandom lazy and giving credit and recognition to people who have not done anything to deserve it.
I wasn’t going to respond to this but I realized that others may have gotten the same or a similar message and wanted to address it. The intent behind this message to me was to create unrest and drama, which I will not personally partake in.
Howeverrrrr.. I do want to explain. You’re right, AI is not the same as drawing and in no way, shape, or form did I ever say that. I do spend many hours on certain aspects of my AI “creations” including my audios. The audios take the most work as there is a lot of writing, editing, piecing together, and re-generating the voice to get the right tone and inflection. Some things I post take a lot less work but get a lot more attention such as my screenshots. This, by no means, discourages me in any way. I enjoy creating every bit of it and I am here for fun, not for a popularity contest.
As for the “lazy” comment, you might want to get to know me a little better before insinuating this. I am very hardworking in my every day life, I am a Slytherin after all. I won’t bore you with the details.
I’ve also got an autoimmune condition which impairs my ability to draw with a steady hand. Despite this, I was actually working on a drawing last night (before I received this lovely message) that I plan to post in the coming days or weeks, depending on how long it takes.
To the person who “anonymously” tried to bash me, please feel free to use your username to message me in the future so you can show me some of your work or give me some tips. I won’t hold this against you and I’m not here to put anyone down, only to share my love of HL.
To the other creators on here, I’m sorry if you get this type of message and I don’t want anyone to feel discouraged about posting whatever they want. We are here to have fun and enjoy ourselves and I’m sorry that some people want to gate-keep that. I will continue to post as usual and I encourage you to do the same, and I will be here to cheer you on.

To the Hogwarts Legacy fandom fanfiction readers (or to any other fanfiction readers who may come across this post) I want to introduce y'all to something that is pretty awesome.
So there's this extension on the Chrome Web store (will work on pretty much any browser though) called "InteractiveFics" which changes Y/N to your actual name. (It can change any name to any other name you want actually). I've been using it for a few years now and it's so nice honestly. It's SOOO worth it and takes like five seconds to install.
