I was watching happiness (1998) and could not stop thinking about making a child actor say the lines the pedophile guy’s son was made to say. Deeply wrong.

One nepo baby i will support is Leos Carax’s and Katia Golubeva’s daughter Nastya who started acting in the last few years and is signed to an agency. She looks so much like her mother to me!

I have watched a lot of films lately at least in comparison to the last few years but not a lot that have truly touched me, left me feeling grateful cinema exists, in awe of art, crying, weeping, begging at the intensity. Atlantics (2019) was probably the last film i Loved. As opposed to merely liked.

if you are going to watch the devil's bath (2024), wait until you are in the mood. it is a fantastic film but it features heavy themes of misogyny, patriarchy, depression, mental illness in general, religion. It definitely wasn't an easy film for me to get through.

i found some 300 euro jeans on sale for 40 euros. that is good. but also my account is almost drained.

sorry for not posting i am deeply in love and that is all i am going to say about that

I genuinely do not understand those color analysis posts and half of the time the proponents will post comparison pics being like see how this person looks better in this and that colour and to me they literally dont

Also I just found out korean color analysis is different from western thought lmao bc robert pattinson got deemed a winter and then the western color analysis proponents were like but no!!!! And then some other people were like that is bc koreans like to emphasize paleness. So it is all such bullshit but also funny.

I hate every aspect of my job and want to quit every day <3

some albums i appreciated recently

I listened to far less music last year as i had blown speakers on my old laptop but getting back into the habit of finding interesting recent releases <3 (with their bandcamp links included so you can support the artists)

(will post more soon)

Oh i never talked about how i saw nosferatu in the theatre and i wanted to leave the screening almost every second of the film. I hated it and I was angry all throughout the film and I regretted spending my money on it. And i loved the vvitch and the lighthouse! Even the northman was fine and entertaining. Now eggers is on my shitlist.
