I’m working on a big project this academic year. It’s a triptych about polar expedition on the steamship Chelyskin. I don’t really like how my draft(3rd pic) turned out, so I didn’t post it separately. But now I genuinely enjoy working on a final version, even though rn it’s on paper as a preparation for a very final piece on canvas. It’s so nice to work with the sun warming whole studio, and with the electric kettle providing unlimited(read as monstrous) amount of tea and coffee, and with memes from groupmates working nearby. And this particular theme for artwork is so cool, because it has all my favourite things in it: airplanes, pilots, ships, dogs, women, north. The final artwork will be done by middle june, and I’m really looking forward for it
