Oops I forgot to make a new pinned post!! I've moved and seems like I've mostly gotten over the illness that put me out of commission over the summer. Hopefully I can be as active as I wanted to here now!!

As I continue to fill out this blog, I'll update this with more of my ship and character tags. I need to go back and make sure everything is organized.

I'm Aeg and I love selfshipping and OC x Canon. I was originally a furry artist, but my love for human characters prompted me to expand my skillset. My main blog is here and my art blog is here! I've been selfshipping since around 2014 and even though my tastes have been questionable I still love them all.

I think its funny to see people joke (or maybe even complain) about people who make their self inserts different from their true selves, because they always imply that s/is are made to be prettier, nicer, better than the person they represent.

Have you ever considered my s/i is wayyyyy worse of a person than I am??? Do you know how amazing it feels when my fictional crush wants to fuck a guy who is literally me but Worse?? I recommend this.

#I’ve ranted about this on other sites 5000 times but I really dislike the shift towards using yumejoshi in selfship circles#I hate that people use yumejoshi by default. it makes me feel so awful and even more isolated#like why did we have to switch to a gendered term when we already had the term selfshipping for forever#hell if you feel strongly enough to use yume- terms why not just use ficto???#ive just all around not had a good time on twitter and bluesky and this is part of the problem for me for sure.#bluesky is at least marginally better about it…

thing is self shipping is inherently self serving and if youre not doing everything in this for yourself and your happiness then it Will start to bother you. you cant do any of it for the approval of others

love when characters are so entrenched in their own self loathing that they believe themselves to have some inherent trait that causes them to fuck everything up rather than it being a result of them never trying bc they assume they're going to fail anyway
