Christabel's Place

@christabelq / christabelq.tumblr.com

Hey fellow Tumblrs, welcome to my little corner of the community. I'm Christabel (Chrissy to my friends) and I'm a writer. I started writing at school and have been doing it ever since. I've written a bunch of stories and poems, but so far, only two have been published (😔). As soon as I sell anymore, I'll let y'all know... once I'm done with the excited squealing. I'll also be sharing pics of me cosplaying. If you like the cosplay stuff, please consider supporting me at ko-fi.com/christabelq. I'd be super grateful. My other interests include live performance (seeing and creating), music, ancient Egypt and dressing in black. I live in London with my gorgeous girlfriend and our black cat.

Another Tank Girl cosplay shot starring lil old me and my rocket launcher. As you can see, this one is kind of cheeky, and no, the logo isn't a permanent fixture. I ❤️ cosplay, so there's definitely more to come. You can also find me at ko-fi.com/christabelq

I 💜 seeing other people's cosplay stuff and I've noticed a lot of the time they'll post before and after shots in matching poses. They're super interesting to see, as they show how putting on a costume can totally change someone's body language and persona, so I took some myself when I did my last 🐱CATWOMAN🐱 shoot. If I was a little less scatty 🙃, I'd do it for all my shoots, but it doesn't often occur to me until it's too late. Anyway, I took a bunch of before and after shots 📷 to make sure I got a good match and the ones I'm sharing here are the best. There are the pics themselves and I got my GF to rustle up a transformation animation as an added bonus (she's good with that stuff... 👩‍💻). Part of me wishes the process was that easy - that you could just wave a magic wand🪄✨ and instantly be the character - but really, that would be waaaay less fun. I'll probably share a few more of the after pics sometime, as I think they give a good view of my costume (including my new, much talked about bling bling claws), but that's it for now. I hope you've enjoyed this little behind the scenes look at me becoming Catwoman. Social media 💜 is always super appreciated.

Have a purrfect rest of the day🐾, Christabel ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

new york freakin city babey

No surprise, really. When I was living on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco there used to be three of them that would walk down the street towards the main drag about 10:00 at night.

The only question I have is how can they afford an apartment in San Francisco?

God’s Port - Animated painting

The skull of Mer-Totha still sits atop the Howling Shallows, a reminder of the distant past and now a burgeoning new port just south of the Northern Sea...
