What do you guys call Knuckles father from the movies, do you use Locke or make up your own name for him. I'm curious bc i see different fics use both (personally I don't have a preference)

Concept for Sonic 4: Metal befriended Amy as a child but, because of his programming, ends up betraying her. So they became ex friends and enemies with a tragic backstory.

"what if a dangerous man pretends to be trans to-" what if we actually dealt with the underlying causes of dangerous men. what if predators faced real consequences more often. what if you stopped using trans women as a proxy for your grievances with liberal feminism's individualist denial of the need to fight systemic issues.

what if you stopped assigning blame for patriarchy's evils to one of its more vulnerable victim groups.

I enjoy being a new gen sonic fan bc I could care less about discourse over change, it’s scary over there on sonic twt

KNUCKLES SERIES APPRECIATION POST

I like making these posts specifically about things that I think go underappreciated in the movieverse. Now I really had fun with the knuckles series and think that's the general consensus now after some time in that yeah it wasn't what some expected and rightfully if you didn't like it that's fine. So with this, I wanna highlight what my favorite part of the Knuckles series was, and it was Knuckles arc in trusting people again and learning to relax.

Like right off the bat, Knuckles doesn't trust anyone or anything that isn't the Wachowski family (which is his tribe now), so it's no surprise he takes things a little too far in protecting the home which gets him grounded making him realize what he's even doing there if he can't do what he's always done and that's always be ready for a fight. Pachacamac, when he's called upon by Knuckles, takes this opportunity to get Knuckles to relax now and honestly by random (first guy he sees on the newspaper) gets Knuckles to take Wade on as an apprentice. Through Wade and Knuckles interactions, we see one of my favorite things about Knuckles, and that's his willingness to empathize, especially when he hears about Wades dad. It's something we saw before in Sonic 2 when Sonic almost got through to Knuckles with just being honest about how they both lost their home that day with the attack.

Honestly I'll just post the scene that just sums up one of Knuckles best characteristic:

I think it's important to note that Knuckles has trusted people in his past but whenever he did he got hurt, but more importantly if anytime someone offered help towards him in finding the emerald he'll be distant yes but he again would trust them. He even starts to lighten up here with Wade. At Wades childhood home, Knuckles gets introduced to more fun stuff like music and TV (I'm jealous of Wades room, no lie) and introduced to a separated family it gives good insight for Knuckles on how different families operate and how they can still come back together. At the casino, we meet Wades *cough* "father," and this highlights the series lesson in trust. Wade was so willing to hear his dad out, but he betrays them and the family for his title and doesn't feel bad about it at all. Luckily, unlike his father, Wade has already stated he would never betray a friend, and when they think Wade goes through with the agents' plans, SUPRISE Knuckles heard everything through air pods. It seems everything is going okay, but the Buyer shows up the last second and almost takes out Knuckles by draining his chaos energy, but Wade comes in to protect his friend, and through Wades speech, Knuckles finally realizes he does have a home, that he can trust again, that there are people like Wade who truly say that he is his friend.

Oh yeah I also did an edit (first ever edit edit of mine so yeah it’s clunky) but I really love this song and secret of the wings (my favorite tinkerbell movie) and yknow it’s basically a song about siblings so yeah 🩵💛❤️
