Honestly you really should give the series a go if you have the chance, because it really is one of those games you wish you could experience again for the first time!
And yeah Andromeda really did have such an effect on me, I will always treasure that game and remember it's realease time fondly โค๏ธโค๏ธ

Mass Effect Andromeda turned 8 years old today. 8 years since one of my favourite video games ever was released.
I remember how obsessed tumblr was with it, everywhere you looked you saw gifsets of the characters, the Ryders, the romances, it was simply amazing.
I am not exaggerating when I say this game had such an effect on me, finally opening up and talking with other people in the fandom, helping me become more introverted. I made many friends thanks to this game and I still feel joy every time i see them popping up on my dashboard.
I can only hope that one day we will return to Andromeda in some way, seeing the characters once again, here's hoping the story will go on!
