been rewatching Simpsons clips while i draw lately, and Marge and Bart’s relationship is a lot like how i picture my CATCF self-insert’s and Mike’s to be in my AU tbh 😭

this is highly specific but i fuckin LOVE when traditionally-animated theatrical releases of shorts / pilots for a cartoon series would bave more fluid and cinematic animation than the actual TV show, oughhhhhh

The “Fetch” CatDog short is a really really good example of this, the animation in it is gorgeous
