Beautiful lies~
Transformers one fanfiction. Primes sparkling au made by compaculaaa
Since the beginning of the Quintesson War, the Thirteen Primes needed someone—someone to help them, someone to be there for them. Sentinel, the assistant, had only one dream: to become a Prime.
Alpha Trion, the archivist, was different from all his siblings. In a war, an archivist was not considered useful. The way he spoke, no one ever truly listened. His siblings were too busy fighting while he remained alone in the library, reading and tending to every single book, learning how to defeat the enemy. Even so, he kept in contact with his brothers. One of them, Megatronus Prime, was always there when Alpha needed comfort—but he would leave soon after, never turning back to look at his brother.
Sentinel saw this. He saw an opportunity to get closer to the Primes, and he didn’t hesitate to take it.
Walking toward the lonely archivist, he put on his best smile and composed himself.
“Well, hello there~” he said in a charming, almost seductive voice as he approached Alpha Trion.
Alpha, wary and suspicious, instinctively took a step back. Before he could say anything, Sentinel suddenly pulled him by the waist. Startled, Alpha shoved him away in a panic, grabbing a book and raising it in the air, ready to strike.
“Whoa, whoa! Calm down, buddy!” Sentinel bent down and raised his hands in surrender.
“Who are you!?” Alpha demanded, still gripping the book tightly.
“I’m Sentinel. I help your siblings in the fight against the Quintessons. Now, put the book down,” he answered, keeping his eyes on the floor, silently praying that Alpha wouldn’t hit him with it.
Alpha slowly lowered the book, studying him carefully. Then, in a quieter voice, he said, “It’s okay... I won’t hurt you.”
Sentinel stood up and nodded before apologizing for scaring him. Alpha accepted the apology, though he remained cautious.
As time passed and they spent more moments together, Alpha Trion grew attached to Sentinel. Sentinel, however, was harder to read. He could say he didn’t care for Alpha, but his spark said otherwise. Alpha was naive. All the promises, the sweet words—they were lies. He didn’t see through them. Neither did his brothers.
Alpha needed affection, someone to talk to, and now that he had someone… he wouldn’t let this relationship break.
Sentinel, on the other hand, was cold and calculating, using the poor archivist just to stay close to the Primes. How cruel of him. And yet, despite everything, even he couldn’t fully convince himself that he disliked being with Alpha. It was another one of his lies.
“Sentinel?” Alpha suddenly spoke, breaking the silence.
“Yes?” Sentinel answered in a calm, low voice.
“After the war against the Quintessons… will you stay with us, or…?”
