Daniel has always annoyed me and I can’t figure out why. Is it because I find his voice grating? It is because he’s the “cinnamon roll” archetype? Is it because I didn’t like the other “wolf pups”? I like Blaze and Ein, so why don’t I like Daniel? I go out of my way to avoid episodes and minigames he’s in and I don’t know the root cause this

To be honest, I’m neutral on jess & jason as individuals, and as a couple, only because it feels like a lot of anti-jesson fanatics are looking for deep information on their personal lives outside of the mainstream media. It just feels too stalkerish and a bit creepy to psychoanalyze these content creators like that.

HOWEVERRRR I do agree with them about the workplace abuse allegations that you can easily find on glassdoor AND also twitter documents about the blujay studios twitter drama back in 2017 when jesson decided to randomly let go their longtime friends / co workers for whatever reason. And it all seems like this crazy verbal & emotional abuse is always linked back to the ceo of cat face which also happens to be jason….hmmm interesting.

not only that the multiple incidents of lazy writing of east asian culture, the romanticization of toxic couple tropes, and playing into the horrible narrative that an abused child should just forgive their abusers just for the sake of family. There’s so many small things that just piled up to the hot dumpster fire that was caused by those two or the people they decided to have on their team.

I think the day jesson stop trying to overly self-insert themselves onto their characters, and allow them to be their own people is the day the world goes back to normal again. Mys! Aaron lore went south so quick once the ultima arc was revealed (I KNOW ITS BEEN HINTED SINCE PDH S1) and it kinda just felt like a lazy way to excuse whatever abuse derek and rachel put aaron through. I can ramble more about the lycan fam lore as someone who adores each family member, while also hating their development as characters —but that would just overlapped with my previous intention writing this confession.

I think the whole “Aphblr is a small community” can also be used to like...mayhe consider that maybe people don’t realize they’re vaguing. If a person follows 5 MCD blogs and 4 of them all reblog the same post, it can feel like everyone is thinking a specific thing. Or even they just scroll through the MCD tag and see a handful posts about a ship they think is out there they may think “Why is this ship popular???” Not realizing its all from one person who is focusing on their new favorite random blorbo pairing.

Like I really don’t think every vague post is intentional vaguing someone. Sometimes it’s probably just someone not realizing every post about That One Headcanon or That Ship is all from the same OP cquse they saw it reblogged on their dashboard a lot cquse as pointed out. Some of y'all act like Aphblr is some big sprouting community when... It isn't. Yeah some Aphblr posts get a lot of notes, but most creators in the fandom are small and have small audiences. That's why those indirect posts always get found by the person they're indirect about. Please stop being indirect and vague posting and just come into our inboxes and ask us questions about things.

I love the ~idea~ of mcd!garroth. But I HATE canon Garroth. I love the IDEA of a gentlemanly, shy, quiet sweetheart who loves too much for his own good, but I feel like around Laurance getting trapped in the Nether, he starts to undergo a? decaying?? Of his character? When he adamantly refuses to rescue Laurance from the Nether and holds Aphmau back from doing so. And then when we get to the Irene dimension betrayal, he’s turned into a total self-centered conceited disloyal stuck-up cold douchebag asshole incel. I’m trying to rewatch season 2 and it’s painful to get through any scene with Garroth in it because he’s just turned into the most arrogant, selfish, devoid of empathy, cold-as-balls misogynistic asshole I’ve ever seen, and from the snippets I’ve seen throughout season 2 and season 3 whenever I’ve skipped ahead, I don’t think he ever gets better and I’m DREADING experiencing that. It’s gotten to the point that whenever he comes on screen I boo his ass and talk shit for hours because he will just not stop pulling dick moves. And I’m certain I’ll have a BLAST (sarcasm) when I get to season 3 and he starts being racist too for literally no reason, as if that’s ever going to be enjoyable. Why is he racist? Why did they do this to my boy?? Why did they do you so dirty, Garroth?? What happened to my sweet, adorable, shy, loving, devoted gentleman?? Where did my golden retriever boy go?? Who is this ASSHOLE that replaced him?? Where has my beloved darling boy gone?!?!?! WHY IS HE A RACIST PIG NOW???

If you’re going to anon confess about something do it outright and openly. was there any actual evidence for Zenix and Vylad being children in canon? Like a characters dialogue stating that Vylad is a child? Where did we get that idea from because the wiki doesn’t say anything about it and like. they both look pretty adult to me,,, Zenix is literally a high-ranking member of the shadow knight military and was the leader of his own battalion, which he single-handedly killed. there’s no way they put a 12 year old in charge of an entire military battalion. also like, aphmau has different skins/avatars for children, they’re always much smaller/shorter, like in PDH where all the kids are shorter than the adult teachers despite being in the 13-16+ age range, its always been that way? So if Vylad was like 14, wouldn’t Jess not use an adult model for him in Diaries: Rebirth?? Where did we get the “Vylad is 14 in MCD season one” idea from.
