the air is getting more and more cool and crisp as the days progress. the most intense wave of excitement rushes over me as i dig through my closet, looking for the one thing that screams fall. finally, i'm able to inhale the warm, fuzzy wool of my favorite sweater. i hum quietly to myself - a slow tune of happy chords that blend beautifully with the melodious sound of leaves crunching beneath my knee high boots. tugging gently at the warm scarf wrapped haphazardly around my neck, i'm certain i can see the leaves changing from their vibrant greens to the oranges, yellows and reds i adore. a smile spreads slowly against my lips as the breeze teases and kisses my rosy cheeks. up ahead, friends are gathering around a bonfire, huddling to keep warm as the sun slowly makes it's way down, waving goodbye to the gorgeous autumn world it sees. there's no better way to explain it, i'm in love with fall.
