🌟MORE STUFF THAT MAY HELP SOMEONE🌟
•If you want to go foraging, make sure you use a book/guide that has hand drawn illustrations that have been done by an actual human. DO NOT USE PHOTOGRAPHS. If it's drawn by hand, it ensures that everything that is in that picture is MEANT to be there. And if in doubt, don't bloody eat it!
•Journaling your thoughts and worries on paper is good for you, accessible, cheap, and can't be hacked or flagged. Just saying.
•Now is the time to do everything you can to look after your health - physical, mental, spiritual.
•Keep up to date with what's going on, but set a limit. 10minutes to check what fuckery has happened, then go and laugh at some memes or hang out with your dog.
•Speaking of dogs, do you have a dog? Has your dog been acting STRANGE lately (and it's not because they're a Husky or they're unwell?) It could be that they're picking up on your stress. If you've had a particularly bad day, when you get home treat yourself to a shower and wash the stress stink off you. Your dog will thank you (and it'll make you feel better too).
•SPEAKING OF DOGS AGAIN: Honey is awesome for small cuts and grazes (it's antiseptic, forms a barrier, and won't kill them if they lick it, which they will). Tick tweezers are handy. Hibiscrub (a soap used by surgeons to clean their hands/surgery site) is great to have for you and your mutt. You can use it neat (it'll sting) or diluted on minor cuts or grazes. Old baby socks can be used for poorly paws. *PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR VET BEFORE USING HONEY (diabetic dog?) OR HIBISCRUB - I really don't want to make anyones dog sick by trying to help - SO PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOU LISTEN TO SOME IDIOT ON TUMBLR
•If you need help, ask. Someone will be able to help you.
•Continue to do things you enjoy. Go and play a game/draw/build with Lego etc.
•Know that you're not on your own. You have millions of allies across the globe who have your back.
•Do not give up, do not give up, do not give up. You're important, the world needs you, and you're tougher than you think. You can get through this.
Bonus: USE YOUR LIBRARIES! THEY'RE AMAZING!
*DISCLAIMER JUST IN CASE IT WAS MISSED* always check with your vet prior to trying anything new on your dog!!
