Work vacuum died. This is the fifth one since I started working here five years ago.
The first one died because my coworker vacuumed up rocks.
The second one died because my coworker vacuumed up rocks.
The third one died because my coworker vacuumed up rocks.
The fourth one died for unknown reasons that involved my coworker vacuuming up rocks.
The fifth one died a few minutes ago and it was a big mystery and my coworker was like “oh I don’t know what happened it just overtaxed for some reason” so I looked inside the hose and—get this—it was jammed with rocks.
He keeps buying bigger and more expensive vacuums and complaining about how shitty and faulty the last ones were and every time I suggest something like “what if you didn’t vacuum up rocks” he’s like oh no it is the vacuums who are wrong.

When I first realized I was trans, I never thought I would make it past 18. I'm now going to be turning 25 this year, almost a year into my first-ever full-time job (another thing I never thought was possible). While my physical and mental health haven't been great, I'm glad and thankful every day of my choice to transition and live with myself as I truly am. And I'm glad to show people that two-spirit people and LGBT Muslims exist and can live happy lives. Shout out and love to my fellow two-spirit folks and my fellow trans Muslims, any future with us in it is a bright one 🧡🏳️⚧️

While we take our time to honor famous transgender folk (and Black transgender folk!!) I also want us to keep in the everyday Black transgender people in our communities! I follow the tko_alabama IG page- The Knights and Orchids- as the organization takes the time to focus on care and services for Black Queer and Trans folk in the South, where their existence is often forgotten and the support desperately needed. Take the time to recognize that there are Black trans people in your own communities (or nearby) that 1) exist and 2) deserve to be heard!

Lmao I know I said I’m leaving tumblr but I have to share a few things. I got laid off from my job in February and unemployment is being so efficient and just not getting back to me or disturbing funds so while I have a part time job, it’s not covering rent or all my bills as I get less than 16 hours week.
I know everyone is struggling but if you could please boost this. Every time I try to do better for myself I get kicked in the groin so any traction this could get would be helpful.
