Just completed one of the postcards I’ll be giving away to my kickstarter backers, those that pledged a little extra. I may sell prints of this in my shop too in the future.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1642692051/the-guardians-raven-and-crow-pins My Crow and Raven pins are up on Kickstarter! If I reach my goal I will get them made!
A new collection of bird pins I’m creating, the first is a Raven with a Limited amount of 100 that will be numbered. Once they are gone they are gone! They will be available in February.
This Raven is croaking and displaying proudly! If you are interested in ordering one or when they will be available, just fill in this contact form and you will be notified! http://crowartist.co.uk/contact/
Painting a hooded crow!
Some sketches of a Wigeon who is quite friendly at my local birding spot, so it’s easy to practice drawing him when he is stood next to me. See a video of him here on my birding blog!
Hi, Ravens are not Crows
Hello, Ravens and Crows are both in the Crow family (Corvidae). Corvidae is a cosmopolitan family of oscine passerine birds that contains the crows, ravens, rooks, jackdaws, jays, magpies, treepies, choughs, and nutcrackers. In common English, they are known as the crow family, or, more technically, corvids. Over 120 species are described. The genus Corvus, including the jackdaws, crows, and ravens, makes up over a third of the entire family.
