In other pet-related news, my uniquely talented daughter Pistache just peed on the floor and managed to rip off a chunk of (admittedly already very fucked up) plaster from my bedroom wall in her attempt to “bury” it.
Local tortoiseshell astonished that clawing at a wall inside of a building didn’t cover her peepee oopsie with dirt or sand as she expected, but with pieces of the wall itself: “Pretty sure these didn’t came out of me”, she reports.

It has only been six hours since someone last tried to get Akinator to guess the dog from The Mask? Damn. And to think I was once the 5th best player in the official competitive Akinator scene for a beautiful, beautiful afternoon…

#a fun fact about me is that I once got 5th place in the competitive Akinator worldwide ranking#oddly enough the competitive mode isn't about beating him. It has to be a character who's already in his database.#What get you points is the obscurity of the character in question. The longer it has been since that character was brought up#the more points you get. So like. A character like Bugs Bunny won't get you anything.#But if you can get him to guess uh... the dog from The Mask you get points.#Anyway I either know a lot of obscure cartoon characters or there aren't that many people playing Akinator competitively

Who wants to see my new pet molecule
My mom found her all alone on a horse pasture by a road, no adult dogs or other puppies around. She’s apparently around 45 days old. Doesn’t know how to bark yet but has just learned that biting things is pretty cool.
Just as I wrote this she tried inviting my cat Clotilde to play by making the littlest “yap!” ever. She seemed very surprised to learn that she’s able to produce sound.
