Reading this paragraph it occurred to me: yet another thing that the webtoon was not able to convey due to medium is that Yoojin has an incredibly sharp eye for talent even aside from his skill. He's thought things like this before (e.g. that Myungwoo should sell his cooking) and it's interesting to see that that twig skill is very much linked to his personality just like everyone else's skills are
the manhwa takes out so much of his character it pains me. manhwa yj is a man I've never seen in my entire life. no idea who that is. i only know novel yj 🙏

I'm honestly a bit tired of how people see pre reg hyj as some depressed mf who can't even manage to smile that's just how miserable he is (i am guilty of this too, not sorry :3) when we all know how much he can mask all his shit and pretend to be fine. cus even with all his emotional baggage he can still have happy moments that warm his heart, so
imagine prereg hjyj getting in some weird hijinks, getting caught for it, put in detention, and when stw arrives to question them hyj just can't stop laughing at how stupid the thing they did was. and shj just keeps egging him on like "this is no laughing matter, yoojin", "I can't believe I'm hanging out with a criminal" n shit like that. and hyj just tries his absolute hardest to not break out laughing on the spot, covering his mouth and trying to push shj away. and stw just watches them in silence as they giggle and joke around and he's just so, so done with their shit (i get you stw, i really do).
and after that they call each other accomplices and for some time when hyj sees shj's face (irl or advertising) he starts giggling to himself 🥹
considering the fact that even at 30 hyj had a limp, either shj didn't even offer fixing it since he knew hyj wouldn't like it, or he tried but was refused (and possibly cursed out)
but boy i KNOW those bruises and injuries had to be annoying
seeing as shj poured a high grade potion on stw's broken hand on his first birthday party (albeit for shits n giggles), i can definitely see him throwing bottles at hyj and running for it...
and honestly, after being rejected by his own brother and failing at getting a potion by himself, i think hyj would just give up at healing his leg entirely (and it's really sad 🥹)
