You may be thinking, why does she need so much, haven't we helped enough yet? While we complain about, let's say, the ever-rising price of eggs - 2€ here, $10 in the US - how much might these same eggs cost for Ola, in a country where all production is stopped & barely any food can be imported? Well, for Ola and her family, every single food item & necessity has prices comparable to what one would normally only spend on perhaps a trip or even rent - each egg, or fruit, or vegetable, is like a luxury item, and meat is out of the question entirely. On top of that, Ola is unable to work or earn any money, so she & her family are completely dependent on this campaign for basic survival. In this art piece, I wanted to portray Ola's dreams that were crushed by the current situation, where she can barely survive.

Okay, let me address something here.

My hatred for the Democratic Party was specifically because people settled for what was essentially GOP-lite. They were the real obstacles with their constant glad handing to what was supposed to be their political opponents. The term bipartisanship became synonymous with complicity with Fascism to the point that there was no material difference between the two parties. You were either getting genocide or genocide with enthusiasm being a valid breaking point for people who abstained from voting.

But that wasn’t my breaking point with the political party. Mine was 2020 when you elected Biden. I was already on my way out but choosing Biden was the final nail in the coffin.

I always held the belief that for any political position you have, you have to earn other people’s support through action. Not expect them to compromise. You don’t leverage fucking terrible vs fucking horrible and expect me or anyone to be enthusiastic about voting. My ideal candidate shouldn’t be willing to fold their morals like a dollar to appeal to what you think the majority of voters care about. I don’t care about focus groups or any of that shit.

It wasn’t harm reduction. It was harm redistribution and you’re mad that people at the abyss and chose to threw up their hands and said fuck it, let’s go. Admit that and then look inward at what got us here in the first place. Don’t get mad at people like me who archived Democrat bullshit because you fuckers willfully ignored and obfuscated it. You have the nerve to twist yourselves and glare at people like me when you capitulated to being okay with genocide. You lost any moral high ground, and now you are trying to create some scaffolding made of dead Palestinian bodies to stand on to make yourselves feel better about your choice to vote for Harris and Biden. Fuck out of here.

ChatGPT uses so much energy that the US is literally reversing course on coal and gas usage to make up for it. In Santa Clara, for example, data centers used 60% of the ENTIRE CITY'S electricity.

ChatGPT uses 1-3 bottles of water for cooling for every query you put into it. This is FRESH WATER, which is evaporated and eventually mostly returns to the ocean, effectively removing a lot of it from our already dwindling fresh water supply on the planet. It also consumes 17 THOUSAND TIMES more electricity than the average American home.

The AI boom wastes so much electricity that we are very immediately risking US cities having to have rolling blackouts just to keep up with the energy demands, as early as NEXT YEAR

Gen AI's water usage is projected to hit 6.6 BILLION meters cubed by 2027

More AI use = more data centers = power drain on local cities = gas, electricity, and water utility prices rise because all of our resources are being funneled into a machine that makes garbage
