OMG okay this is a small idea that I’ve had turning around in my head for a bit- so we know Dogday and the others are already way protective, be it Cherub or Angel, but how much worse do you think it’d be if Player had a physical disability? Like maybe they need a cane to walk or have trouble breathing sometimes? (Also how pissed would he be if Poppy tried to push them to keep moving when their body obviously can’t take it? Even if Player insists that they can.)

that would lead to some really fun scenarios when considering all the stuff the player has to do to progress the plot of the story! lots of running and jumping around which is bound to aggravate any disability the player could have!

dogday would be soooo worried if it's hurting them, eager to carry them if he has legs, or have kissy carry them if not. probably argues a lot more about any plan poppy has that puts player in a place of having to make a quick escape or do something strenuous.

ahhh, but imagine, if you will, the scene after one of these more intense moments. lying in dogday's arm, him panicking over your pain, your agony, unable to help, unable to even offer you water because of how lacking in supplies you are.

how he hates this. oh how he hates this. he hates being useless, and he cannot help you, not like this.

lord help him once you get out. nothing is hurting you again

I can't find an article in English but essentially in France it is a common children's prank to on April Fool's put little paper fish on people's backs and it's called "poisson d'Avril" (April Fish). when i was in school in our french classes we would hide paper fish around the school as well and i took great joy in wedging mine in deeply impractical places that im honestly not sure were ever found. looking at it now, my French teachers had billed it as a Whole Separate Holiday but it actually seems more to be like a cultural in-joke/France-Specific April Fool's Prank lol whoops

regardless I like it better than some of the more mean spirited stuff I've seen associated with American April Fool's day

can't be mad at someone just taping one of these lil guys to your back right !

Even before y/n and Cataclysm became a couple, there this genuine care y/n would have for Cat

Y/n one day saw Cat having a close breakdown or how he might look normal to others, but can tell that Cat is feeling out of it. Wether he is suppressing his anger or other emotions trying to have a rise outta him.

y/n would sit next to him and comfort him, wether by words or simply being by his side. Not expecting him to tell them what's wrong.

Which I think might help bring his deep hidden emotions back, and little by little his Ego won't be in a way of having a deep connection with some one. But it takes time to get there.
