Apparently Target is rethinking being anti DEI because foot traffic in their stores has been declining for like 10 weeks straight and their stock has been dropping in unison and listen, I know a lot of this is probably because consumer spending goes down in general when the economy is unstable (tarrifs, mass federal gov layoffs etc.) but I think we should just keep running boycotts of different brands to convince them that they only make money when they're woke. I know we dunked on rainbow capitalism because it was cornball and performative but I don't even give a shit. These companies shouldn't be able to be openly pro-Trump and expect us to ignore it. They should not be allowed to bend the knee to racist, xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic, abelist, generally bigoted culture war bullshit without taking a hit to their bottom line. These billionaire dipshits wanted unfettered capitalism with a madman at the helm and they should not be allowed to enable that without feeling some of the hurt along with the rest of us. SONIC AU COLLISION

As you may or may not have noticed, the sonic-au-collision blog has been deactivated.

Even now, I don't know the reason why. I hadn't accessed the settings that day or gotten near anything that could have led to myself accidentally deleting the blog. I had checked my emails and scavenged all through Tumblr to see if they had given any prior notice if they were going to delete the blog. There was nothing.

I tried contacting Tumblr support on April 8 and have yet to hear back from them.

After thinking it over the past few days, I have decided to continue Mini Collision sign-ups here on my main blog while I continue to work on getting this issue sorted. Depending on the outcome, the polls will then be hosted on the original blog or on a new one.

the unabomber was pedantic about idiomatic phrases like "have your cake and eat it too" and rephrased it to "eat your cake and have it too" (which to be very fair makes sense). fast forward to when he starts writing manifestos. he uses the phrase word for word in his pedantic style and his brother (who has been keeping his eyes on the unabomber shit for obvious reasons) notices the phrase and is like "oh fuck that's my fucking brother no one else fucking says that" and calls in an FBI tip
