After [checks watch] 12 days struggling to start, I took to my pens and doodled this. I didn't plan on actually drawing this, but since I had a half-baked concept in my head, I just went ahead and did it anyway. Just to start something.

Someone in the Rinch Discord server posted a picture of this military-inspired apron, and I thought, this is definitely John's apron at home. 😆

I wasn't happy with the initial concepts I sketched out (the pose, their expressions) so I went with what's currently posted as part of POI Big Bang.

I thought I messed up big time when I kept layering colors on her jacket because I wasn't satisfied with the color (below). The end result is still not great. I was playing around to see the limits of the sketchbook, but I guess that was it.

I was thinking of simply abandoning Artober altogether when October ended. The concept I had in my head for this prompt was too detailed that I doubt I could do it. But one day, I took my little cheap sketchbook and just... did it. and here we are.

I used Scarecrow 5E (a DnD monster) as reference and replaced the face with a skull.
