Velvety Free-tailed Bat rescued by staff at Gerald Adams has been evaluated and will be returned to the wild this evening.

Spent my birthday finishing up this batch of local bat species.

I think I’m done drawing bats for now haha.

I just love them all so much!! ;0;

Microbats have such charming faces (megabats also!). Their little, fuzzy nugget bodies and big ol' personalities get me every time. I very nearly became a chiroptologist, until I realized that I have nowhere near the kind of focus needed to make it through years of schooling.

Maybe not my finest composition, but definitely one I'm happy with!
