Tragedy has been striking Palewood town, and it seems like no one is safe. And so Jules gets on his horse and rides all day to the little town, to attend the funeral of his uncle, Father Yarrow, and to disprove all superstitions that are haunting the locals.

Heavy steps deafen the silence of the morning hours as sunlight filters through the trees. The ground below drinks in the crimson slowly dripping from both the blade and the man. In the distance, he can barely see the town of Palewood through the fog. He doesn't know the why or the how, but he can FEEL the where.
The man takes a deep, shaky breath. He looks back at the trail of blood behind him, some of it his own, but most of it not. He looks at the town ahead, the woods surrounding it like a predator ready to pounce on its prey. He would know.

A small town like Palewood was undoubtedly well beyond Isaiah's realm of familiarity. He'd always assumed there was a certain sunny charm to rurality, a calm and quiet contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city he'd come from. Perhaps this one was an outlier. Isaiah pulled at the cuffs of his dress shirt and tucked them neatly, then straightened out his lapels and waistcoat. He knew he would stick out in this little community as it wasーhe needed to make a decent impression. Simple enough, is it not?

In Palewoods, nothing is out of the ordinary, anything that goes wrong is expected as the curse of the Palewood tree lingers on in their little town. Some unexpected deaths takes a turn on the town to unfold the mystery's that will happen as soon as the sun goes down. Ez holds an important role and is meant to guide these new folk into the happenings, but how do you go about these things with a new mayor succumbed with grief?
