An Ode to Aziraphale

Dearest Aziraphale, Yes, I adore you because you are an angel. And you are a literal angel from Heaven and yet you are not perfect.

I love that you try and do the right thing even when you know your superiors will not like it; even when your plans go awry. Even when the whole universe is against you.

I adore your sassy ass.

They moved to the cottage and while they could easily use miracles to bring all the heavy boxes/furniture inside, strong Azi decided to give Crowley a little show~

The demon was successfully smitten.

Also Astra learned her first word.

Do you think Crowley sometimes sits there, counting the times he missed a chance?

to pounce on the angel? 😅

Aziraphale’s face in the gif from the Bastille scene!!!!!!!

I wrote a little ficlet about that scene once :)

"I told you I got reprimanded remember? Frivolous miracles indeed. I was FURIOUS. And I was hoping … yes it was reckless but well, I knew you’d come - I wanted to see you and ... I hoped you’d want me - that you’d, oh I don’t know do something and I will claim I was out of miracles to those bastards, you know?" Aziraphale is agitated and is trying his best to articulate why and how he ended up 'imprisoned' in the Bastille. Crowley stares. "So I put on pretty clothes and appeared in the middle of the horror that was Paris. Anyway..."

Crowley had never been able to feed an animal. They had a sense that warned them that a snake was too close, even when all they saw was a man.

And then Aziraphale came along and helped show all creatures, great and small, that there was nothing to fear.

Aziraphale was NEVER angry because of the kiss. He's scared.

This is him angry

Despite being a fucking cloud with a bowtie, he's very firm when he's angry. It's bluntly obvious. His tone deepens, his face changes, there's no mistaking it.

And here's him scared:

Again, it's obvious.

After the kiss:

He's terrified, not angry. He's terrified of losing Crowley. He's terrified that he actually enjoyed it. He's terrified of Crowley. He desperately wants to be with him, but he's terrified of what will happen for both of them.
