hi. by the looks of my layout, i believe it is pretty obvious that i am a briize and as a briize, if you are supporting riize or keeping up with them and engaging with their official content, i am begging all of you to STOP IMMEDIATELY.

please please please please please BOYCOTT RIIZE. do not support any of their future content, releases, albums, etc.

this is not hate towards the boys but to SM Entertainment themselves who have failed to protect seunghan as a person and as their artist.

to be honest w/ you guys, i would completely understand if you guys started boycotting again or even unstanning riize.

when i mean that the fandom can really drive down a group, i mean it.

I’m going to speak candidly for a moment.

I’ve been on an unofficial hiatus, specifically, since the event of the Taeil situation, as it brought back some negative memories. A teacher of mine was arrested for the sexual abuse of minors, I was close to this man, he was my mentor for around 3 years. For some reason I can’t fully explain, the taeil situation opened the wound I’ll never really heal from.

And now, with the seunghan situation, I’ve lost almost all motivation to continue writing in the kpop space. To see a young man, who didn’t do anything wrong, receive more hate than an actual abuser, makes me sick. To see that fans are more upset about someone dating as a teen, than a man abusing women, makes me disappointed in my own fandom.

I don’t know if I will return, but I need to take a break. I’m heartbroken for seunghan, and I no longer feel right involving him in my smau.

I hope I can return in time. I hope all my followers are doing well, and that you all take the time and care you deserve.
