It was never alive to begin with. That is to say, that is an RP series where Moonie and I shared our RP adventures. Been a while since we were in the mood to play any Batman characters, but I'm sure whenever we get bit by the Batman bug again we'll probably want to RP again. So there is always a chance of it continuing, especially since our last session ended on torturing Riddler I believe.

Nope, just on an indefinite hiatus ( ¯ ꒳ ¯٥) Life's been tough for a long time so it's been hard getting work done.
No project of mine or @darkwingsnark is ever truly dead unless we explicitly announced it.
We have a bunch of pages done for the next chapter already. We were just waiting to start posting once we have a sufficient amount to prevent there being a long hiatus while the chapter is up and running.
But I know on my end family and hospital/doctor stuff keeps me from being able to have the time to do long stretches of inking the pages.
And I say this since I tend to work better on inking if I am left to just focus on that and that alone, which is usually like 8 hours per day for 3 days to get inking done on one page. Let alone for what? 33 pages for the next chapter?
Another niebling is on the way, which I think my niece being born was why there was a halt on work for the past 3 years. I'm told they are working towards being in a state where they can get a constant sitter during the day so my sister and her partner can work. But I have a sneaky suspicion it'll fall on me again, on top of the weekends where my mother and I tag team on watching the kids.
While I'm open when people ask me questions, I admit I tend to try and keep my troubles to myself unless times as really hard and I need to vent on my blog. But I felt it better to be transparent about why there's been a long hiatus on Darkwing Beyond. Many of my projects have suffered from not having the spoons to be in a certain headspace to work. I apologize for the long wait.

I knew going into the piece that I wanted to play with alluding to stained glass, which you see in the texturing and how I designed the lily of the valley flowers. The scene pseudogag described wanting as their prompt sounded really pretty, so I hope I did it justice.

Thank YOU for the lovely prompt! Honestly? I was THIIIIISSS close to doing all of your suggestions for you as a gift, making it a collection of stained-glass pieces. But I thought that might be overwhelming so reigned myself in.

The prompt I choose being "Princess Daisy riding King Totomesu. Can be any age, though I imagine it would be cute with Baby Daisy."
personal notes: this was very experimental both composition and coloring-- I did put some small headcanons for their designs (daisy's skin tone and eyes) but nothing too drastic. I also try making her a bit older, not by a lot, but maybe a first grader kind of age. Regardless, I feel very proud with this, so i genuinely hope you love it too! Thank you for the prompt ≧◡≦!!
Okay that's funny, I didn't realize we got each other for the event directly. Kind of assumed everyone would get a person at random so that it was like we were all passing a piece over to the next person.
THOUGH, I am NOT complaining whatsoever. This more than met my expectations when I threw the prompt out there to give variety. The action of Totomesu's pose makes for a very pleasing composition. And, of course, I love me some darker skin-toned Daisy. Everything about this brings me joy, thank you. <3
