“He is the One Who created for you hearing, sight, and intellect. ˹Yet˺ you hardly give any thanks.”

{23:78}

وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآۗ

"And if you should count the favors of Allāh, you could not enumerate them..." {an-Nahl:18}

How many women do you see wearing Hijab with pants or tight skirts and dresses nowadays. It's rampant with young or old sisters. It's almost like they've forgotten why they wore the Hijab in the first place.

Women from Banī Tamīm wearing thin clothes entered upon ‘Aishah رضي اللّٰه عنها, she then told them:

‎“If you are believing women, then these are not the clothes of believing women.

And if you are not believing women, then enjoy it.“

‎[Tafsīr Al-Qurṭubī | 17/231]

“O humanity! It is you who stand in need of Allah, but Allah ˹alone˺ is the Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.”

{35:15}

“The provision of Allāh can be facilitated for a person in return for being patient with hardships. Keep in mind that days pass by and the reward of good patience is nothing but good.”

— Stated by Ibn al-Jawzī (ﺭﺣﻤﻪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ) in “Sayd al-Khātir” (page 842).

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:

“If Allāh decrees good for a person, He makes his heart disposed towards accepting sincere advice and guides a voice of admonition to echo in his mind during its period of leisure and inactivity…

However, if Allāh turns away from a person, He throws him into an ocean of heedlessness, so that whenever he opens his eyes he only sees layers upon layers of darkness, one on top of the other.”

Gratitude is the key to increase of provision (rizq).

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله, Hādi al-Arwāha ila Bilād al-Afrāha, 1/139

Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said:

“Fitnah only befalls those who leave off what Allāh has commanded them to do. That is because Allāh commanded us with the truth and commanded us to be steadfastly patient, and fitnah comes about either from leaving off the truth, or from leaving off steadfast patience.”

[Al-Istiqāmah]

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:

“Take heed from lessons of those who were before you, before you become a lesson for those who will come after you.”

[Kitaab Al-Lataa’if Fil-Waa’iz | Pg. 68]
