I've seen some people say Octavia's too inmature for her age, since she's an older teen on the edge of adulthood and not a little kid, but that's the entire point. Stolas and Octavia both grew up isolated, but in different ways.

Stolas was mainly emotionally isolated. Literally having no one aside from a "best friend" for one day, and barely had a childhood, because he was forced to grow up too fast and wasn't even allowed to show emotions, so learned to bottle them up. His entire life was planned out for him, he never had a choice.

While Octavia mainly grew up isolated from the reality of the world they live in, was able to "have a normal life" and remain a kid for as long as possible (as in, until the reality Stolas tried to shield her from finally exploded in their faces). She was allowed to show her true emotions, express herself however she wanted and had a choice.

And now she's almost an adult, but with no real experience or preperations on how to handle it, specificially what it means to come off age as a Goetia.

I love how their father & daughter relationship is the perfect example how generational trauma isn't magically fixed in one generation. Stolas did MILES better than Paimon, but of course he wasn't perfect, even with the best intentions, when he's literally never had it himself. Unintentionally still passing down some generational trauma to Octavia, just in a different coating.

Here loona has taken octavia to see the stars to de-stress a little after all that has been happening to her :]

This is Blitz's fantasy. The four of them sitting close to each other by the fire, exchanging gifts, comfortable, safe, and happy.

As far as we know, Blitz has met Octavia twice. Their day at Loo Loo Land, where they didn't really talk, and that brief moment watching fireworks in Seeing Stars. Two on screen interactions and he still puts her right beside him in his perfect fantasy. Not just that, he hugs her, he pulls her close to him. She's not just a side character, she's as loved as Loona is.

This is part of what makes Blitz so endearing to me as a character, he doesn't know Octavia, he may have heard about her from Stolas, but he hasn't really gotten to know her one on one. But still, he can't imagine his perfect family without her, because she is Stolas's daughter and he, as a father himself, understands that the pair are a package deal. Just like Blitz couldn't be happy without Loona, Stolas can't be happy without Octavia.

I really hope this blended family comes to fruition, I know I have my found family addiction but God it would be amazing. Octavia could finally see what two parents who actually love each other and their kids feels like (the perfect family), Loona can have a sister, Blitz has his bird and daughters, and Stolas gets to have a safe home with his daughter, a stepdaughter, and a partner that loves and respects him. I love it. I want to consume it though and I.V. Put me in a blender with it.

Remind me again why this fandom is so pissy that these two are reasonably upset about their dads’ negligence?

Via is using an ipod thing to listen to music and she doesn't unplug her headphones until after Stella finished saying Stolas has been trying to call her all month (the first thing she probably heard is "It's hilarious!"), she probably has no idea Stolas kept trying to reach out to her after the first attempt.
