If Ariel was under Ursula’s care and grew up to be her sea witch apprentice. Canonically, Ursula was Ariel’s aunt (but the concept was abandoned then brought back in a book as I’ve heard…) See a higher resolution at my twitter :)!

Sometimes I use your impeccable any pronouns vibes to practice neopronouns while discussing your Batman takes with my sibling.
incredibly funny and also sorry to your sibling about my batman takes which are all. insane.
the only correct batman takes are insane. Anything elsenis not properly engaging with the media.
The biggest misconception in public schools is that literary analysis is about proving you can be right or wrong about a book you read
Literary analysis isn’t about the book
It’s not even about being right
It’s about performing an investigation and presenting your case to the jury
It doesn’t matter if your defendant killed that guy or not. If you can convince the jury he didn’t, you’ve won
And the incredible life skill of spinning bulletproof bullshit out your ass with a handful of facts and a prayer is soooooooo much more valuable than anyone’s ever gonna tell you
If the average tweenager knew that good media analysis meant you could force your English teacher to admit that fuckin- (rolls dice) What’s Eating Gilber Grape is a metaphor for (rolls dice again) Why the crack cocaine epidemic is good actually- we would have far better literacy and critical thinking skills as a nation. And I stand by that
Something that has had a profound personal impact on me was aceing an English state test based on my refusal to follow the "best practice" of not arguing against the statement our critical thinking essays were to respond to.
Like, i didn't just ace it, i had the people who graded the test approach me to congratulate me on writing such a great essay. All because i was a contrary ass teenager to the point of making more work for myself. 20 years later and i remember what the critical lens was (paraphrasing; "a protagonist must be extrordinary to be a protagonist") and i used The Giver by Lois Lowry to back my point (and another book, but i can't remember what it was).
It gave validity to everytime i ask "why", and everytime i question if I'm just doing what's easy rather than what's "right".
a ‘plain simple garak’ for the person who requested it in my inbox :)

Note: Mobei Jun’s pose is based on the cover of Nile wo Sakanobotte by Yahagi Takako that is an AMAZING manga and you should all read it if you like classic BL and Egypth based stories. I fell in love with its style at first sight <3 just beautiful.
