Do I think Candace and Perry have the same relationship as Phineas and Ferb do with Perry? No, absolutely not. But it always stuns me when people say that Perry truly hates Candace or vice versa like
This one's obvious, right? He HAD to save her, bc his cover was blown and she was (in her head) high as a kite
But then afterward, when the kids are hanging around the fire, Perry's nowhere to be seen. Why?
He's with her, making sure she's good.

He didn't HAVE to rescue Candace. He could've left it to Agent T, or just let Candace and the boys handle it. But he saw her in trouble and instantly broke out of his trap (which he had made no move to get out of at that point) to rescue her.
And Candace, though she rarely admits it, loves him just as much. Their relationship is just more "bickering siblings" than it is "absolute adoration"
ALSO IN THE WIZARD OF ODD candace passes out on the floor
but wakes up on the bed with perry next to her
and in the body swap we saw that perry's body is strong enough to lift candace's entire body over his head
which means he mustve PICKED CANDACE UP AND PUT HER BACK ON HER BED AND STAYED THERE NEXT TO HER UNTIL SHE WOKE UP 🥺🥺🥺🥺
