Ngl the way I started my style a long time ago was basing my artstyle around 2-3 fav artists I really enjoyed, and adapted little bits and pieces of their style (Like maybe how they draw lines, or certain eye shapes, maybe certain fur patterns, y'know?) Into my own xD. so like a combination of other styles to make 1 style
it also helps to just mainly focus on improving your lineart too. I wouldn't worry about color untill you're comfortable with where you're at with your line work.
most of my learning came from just eyeballing how other artists did it though, so I don't nessisarily have a perfect guide to recommend, I hope this at least kinda helps tho xD
