Lucy/Paul

Well in Lucy's case, she is with Paul Atreides. They get married during Dune: Messiah. Lucy is Feyd Rautha (Paul's enemy/cousin) and Harley Quinn's daughter. Lucy was arranged to marry Paul in the name of politics. They work together because the only thing they bond on is being heirs, being doomed by the prophecy, and a deep desire to make their parents proud. Paul is the more grounded of the two, while Lucy is more psychotic, cunning, and chaotic like her parents (Lucy is a bit of a spoiled brat, her parents spoiled her growing up). Of the two, Paul's the person having to deal with Lucy's antics, and he willingly does so because he loves her, and Lucy annoys him all the time because she thinks it's fun, and she likes messing with him. Paul is the person showing Lucy the way of life outside of the way she was raised, and Lucy brings chaos and madness to Paul's prim and perfect life.

Lily/Benny

I cannot complete this without my favorite couple Lily and Benny Cross. Lily ties into the Bikeriders story because she's a soft spoken and naive 16 year old girl who gets involved into the Vandal way of life because she met Benny. Lily seeks freedom and a way to rebel against her parents, and Benny gives that to her. Lily sees Benny as an escape from her toxic household, and that's why she spends so much time with him. They work because Benny is the person bringing Lily out of her shell, and is showing her things she hasn't seen before, same with Lily.

one thing i think movie watchers might miss if they haven't read the books is the fact that rabban is his family name, not his first name, which is glossu. he was born glossu rabban, and feyd-rautha was born feyd-rautha rabban. once taken in by the baron, feyd-rautha is allowed to drop his last name and replace it with the baron's to become feyd-rautha harkonnen. but not only is glossu not allowed the last name of harkonnen, he is referred to almost exclusively by his last name of rabban. it's one of those things that isn't necessary to understand the harkonnen family's dynamic in the movie, because villeneuve shows the baron's favoritism of feyd-rautha in other ways, but it adds another layer for book readers to enjoy.

What if Feyd Rautha had faked his own death during the events of Dune?

Let’s get into this silly thing I made up shall we?

1. The planning

Feyd probably had his coming of age sometime before the events of the war and all that. He probably would plan this after he’s become emperor of Geidi Prime, while he is Na-Baron. Feyd would probably know about this happening in the near future and he probably wouldn’t expect to die, but hey, worst case scenario, he’s really smart and would probably plan to fake his own death. It makes sense to do that if you want to live to get some power and control 🤷🏽‍♀️

2. The Duel

Feyd would probably fight as himself (or have someone stand in as himself to make the plan more real) to fight for him, so that person will die, and everyone thinks that “Feyd” is dead, when he’s actually not.

With Dune: Messiah coming out next year, I'm standing on business. Feyd faked his own death, end of story.

What would Feyd be doing?? No, what wouldn't he be doing? He'd probably be observing the disaster going on around him and reveling in it. (Probably insert himself in it somehow?)

I can just imagine him being this cloaked figure (the reason is that he wants everyone to think he's dead) secretly plotting Paul's demise... (for the 100th time this month) and finding the right time to act on it.

Feyd's smart and brave enough to actually fake his own death.

Feyd would have his death staged, his lookalike dies in his place, and he's plotting against Paul and is trying to bring back his power and control. Sound in character enough right??

A silly little FeyHar headcanon list just because 😼

• Harley told the Bene Gesserit and everyone around her that they were "screwed" when she got the news of her being pregnant with Lucy. She laughed in insanity afterwards and they kept asking her what she meant. Because of this, the Bene Gesserit would not teach Lucy the voice.

• Harley was a bit... overly jealous of the whole Lady Margot situation. (She definitely did not kill her in typical Harley Quinn fashion) Harley wasn't insecure (why would THE Harley Quinn be insecure?) I'm gonna 99.9 say that Feyd learned of her jealousy because she kept trying to drive Feyd mad with her silent treatment and refusal to pleasure and please him, thous Lucy was conceived.

•Feyd had to get Harley out the Suicide Squad with Harkonnen forces. (He even broke her out of jail) As Feyd and Harley are from two different universes, I like to keep things interesting, like Harley in Feyd's world and him in Harley's.

• Feyd taught Harley the flamethrower torture technique... (keep Harley away from a flamethrower at all costs)

•Feyd was the happiest man alive when Lucy was born.

•Feyd prefers Harley's hair in her pigtails, he occasionally pulls on them sometimes but not in public.

• Feyd loves Harley in more revealing clothes. He wants to flaunt her off proudly and brag about her. "I have Harley Quinn and you don't!" sort of thing. He insists she dress revealing for him because he wants to see her, fully.

• Feyd loves Harley, in his own twisted way. He shows it by spoiling her with blades, jewelry, himself?

He even bought her an island and named it after her.

• "my beloved" or "my darling", is what Feyd calls Harley the most. He likes to be fancy with his nicknames for her while Harley is more on the simple side and making up nicknames for him as she goes.

• "How dare these people try to put you with that stupid no good Muad'dib? You're mine!" Feyd growled possessively, as he clung to Harley tightly and held her in his arms after he learned about the Paul/Harley shippers.

• Feyd loves to cuddle Harley, without a reason, he'll just go and cuddle her, she is sworn to secrecy.

• Feyd dedicates kills to Harley in the arena, he's smug about it and brags about how he killed the person afterwards.

•Feyd (when he gets wounded in a fight), insists Harley tend to his wounds, knowing Harley, she wears a skimpy nurse's outfit and it winds up distracting him.

•Of the two, Harley is the sunshine and Feyd is the grumpy.
