Hi! I'm doing alright, enjoying the summer while it's still around...:)
No, I’m not aware of anyone or any project that preserved all of eLouai’s dollmakers independently.... I was hoping that the suspension would be temporary, but it has been a while now, so I really do need to think about accepting this might be the end of eLouai.....
I have had success using the Internet Archive saved snapshots of the site, though! Navigating to the Candybar section by scrolling down on this save lead me to fully functional Candybar dress-up makers, with a bit of patience to allow everything to load before using it, so I have confidence the other dollmakers will work as well through the Internet Archive...
As well as eLouai, the hundreds of snapshots of dollzmania.com on the Internet Archive are fun to sift through, and I have had success getting instances of their Korean dollmakers to work with, again, a little patience... :) If a particular snapshot doesn’t load assets for you, my best advice is to find another date and try again with that one.
If anyone who sees this has their own dollmakers, whether preserved versions/remakes or originally designed, take this as an invitation to promote them in the notes of this post...! I hope the dollmaking community isn’t going to be too hardly hurt by the suspension of the eLouai site..... :( <3
