i just saw someone describe a disabled person as "someone with beautiful abilities" i cannot do this anymore

god can we stop softening the term "disabled". disabled isn't a dirty word. it's not "special abilities" or "differently abled" or whatever the fuck you want to call it. people have disabilities that cause life to be hard and there's nothing wrong with acknowledging that?? it feels so invalidating when people are like "ohh you're not disabled!!! you have special abilities!!" like. omg a) it feels so infantilizing. b) by saying that you're basically saying our struggles aren't real...? some conditions are disabling. it's not hard to understand?? like there is NOTHING wrong with being disabled & using the word disabled. it's not offensive it's not a dirty word can we take the shame out of it pls oh my god. this goes for physical & non physical disabilities btw

Same applies for TV shows mainly targeted for young audiences, most adult shows or movies have sex or gore in it. I'd much rather watch a cartoon animal character or kids go on adventures and have shenanigans in strange colorful worlds.

Because THEY have more depth and character growth than shows that have visible inappropriate stuff shoved in my face.

Leelah Alcorn was a trans girl, a teenager, who sadly committed suicide nearly 10 years ago. I'm happy that her comic touches the hearts of so many people, years after her death.

I saved screenshots of her blog and last message to the world. Her parents had a lot of control over how she was perceived after her death, but it was also to prevent deletion by Tumblr itself. Even back then, Tumblr has been shadow banning trans women on this platform.

My heart goes out to all trans women who are struggling with society's expectations of who they are supposed to be and who they are allowed to be. May you find peace, growth, and respite from whatever you're going through. You deserve happiness, most of all. Thank you for living, thank you for being here with us.

This has worked before:

When the 3DS released, it was over priced too. No one bought it so then they lowered the price!

It has happened before, it can happen again.

If you can wait even 1 day at least, or 1 week at best, it will make a difference.

Spread the news. In solidarity of those who can't buy Switch 2, those who can buy it should at least boycott the launch date. I garantee you it WILL make a difference.

Were MePhoneX, and the 3 robots in the same sail boat MePhone4 used to escape MeCloud with MePad because they were leaving a sail boat spaceship that was oddly similar. If they aren’t the same, when did they leave? (They were probably here because of Cobs) If they are, what does that mean for X since they were created before 4S? (Before you ask wdym 4S, I feel like it’s obvious that MePhone4 escapes right before S1 takes place. That and it’s supported by Karma Waits when there’s a scene of MePhone4 going to MePad in the Sugar Rush episode (right before 4S makes his first appearance as a host) like, was X rebranded, an abandoned project, a weapon?
