Welcome to my profile!

Want to look through my account? Get to know me a little first

My main projects:

Welcome to Gleamfolk City - an original comic/animated series

Toon-tied Terror - a comic series that crossovers multiple different cartoons

YEAAA.. I should actually put content warnings in each of my projects because both are pretty brutal

Gleamfolk City - Violence, body horror, gore, abuse, LOTS of suicide, psychological horror, character death

Toon-tied Terror - LOTS of violence, LOTS of gore, LOTS of character death, stupid dark jokes, attempted suicide

Sooo Nero is basically just an emo version of bojack horseman?????

He's not THAT bad. But there are similarities

Nero always runs away from responsibility and then blames others, even if it's only his fault, doesn't he?

He fucking stabbed Mallet

And then runs away. Like: "I dont want to have a trouble. I have to save my face/status"

And many years later:

Nero. What da hell.

Yeah he is a self-centered dick, and not just towards Mallet! He does get what's coming though

Hello, just saying hi and that I think your art and stories are real neat

You as a person seem cool as well

Thank you so much!!! I really like your writings as well!!

I have a hard time when it comes to receiving compliments but I do try to make good stories🙏

Nero... I guess... is the reason why Mallet LOVES meat?

And where does meat come from in GC? Do they have farms or something?

I'm glad people are noticing Mallet's obsession with meat isn't just a harmless gag🙏

For more context, the cult literally had no food left, so the leader decided to "sacrifice" people every few months so they'd be "granted" with food. Higher-ups are prioritized to eat. Nero force fed every single meal he was given to Mallet instead, basically handing over the responsibility. It wasn't a one-time thing

In turn Nero became repulsed by meat because he's afraid where it might come from, while Mallet turned insane over it since it was the only time he ever got to eat a good meal in the cult

Also Gleamfolk City does have farms! But do you really trust it

Anonymous asked:

Theoretically, would Nero be on a better path to improvement had his brother been less selfish and more understanding of Nero's situation, more sacrificing to help his bro out?

Could've... They both brought out the worst in each other, and being in a cult made it worse. They didn't even know the concept of brotherhood or how special family ties are until they went to the city. They were never taught about it

Fish!

Calico, a disicple gleamfolk oc

A little torn between making them a chef or some kind of performer. They're a jolly, mostly charming Koi Fish. What I do know is for whatever reason before becoming a disicple Calico at least once robbed a grave and felt guilty so they cut off their own finger to apologize to the spirit

@dictatortirah is Gleamfolk's creator and owner

Made some doodles of Vixen. She’s just so funky. Also messing with how her snoot works. I imagine it’s just always flopping down but is very easily hurt. Look it doesn’t tase that hard a punch to break her nose. This results in a lotta nose bleeds due to past incidents. Also was looking at old posts by Tirah and saw Polly. The two would be big time rivals lol. Uh @dictatortirah

Nero has a crush on Vitr????

Just a small celebrity crush! He always knew he never got a chance but it's still neat to think about sometimes, so it's just a lil fantasy

But anyone would be bamboozled if their sibling somehow bagged their celebrity crush , and you weren't invited, and you had zero idea how

I never realized others didn't clock that nero hasn't been the best person, that mallets not the bad guy, the way I'm seeing it is nero is essentially stuck in between being who he was and getting better, he hasn't committed to improving and that's a problem! He's in a sort of moral limbo, from what I've seen id expect his arc to get him out of that limbo (hell I expect he might go back and forth, being how he used to be in the cult and improving as a person) to be honest that's really what gleamfolk's core message looks like to me, getting better

(maybe I'm biased I always liked mallets design he's such a cutie, sorry if this all sounded incoherent, your work is so interesting and captivating)

This is actually the most correct take I've ever gotten on Gleamfolk City, I am so happy reading this

Nero is NOT the best person at all, but he does desire for things to get better and he does care for his friends. But he doesn't do anything to deserve it (due to self-hate and cowardice). His friends do try to help him get better and give him chances but he's just not picking them up. (There's only so many chances they can keep giving him...)

Literally Mallet only seems like the bad guy because the story is in Nero's perspective. I don't try to hide that he's a self-centered dickwad, but can still be really relatable. I'm not saying Mallet is completely innocent either. Mallet is selfish, Nero is arrogant.

Gleamfolk City has many themes like corrupt societies, but the main emphasis is put on the three main characters' trying to improve and realizing their ideals can hurt one another. Gura is really just a catalyst and taking advantage of the situation

Nero butts when he is angry?

You know how goats butt when they are unhappy about something (or trying to win a female)

He doesn't use his actual body strength much because of how weak he is but if he's mad enough, he'd mostly use his hands or legs rather than his head. His brother Mallet uses his head more though

They used to butt heads all the time when they were younger
