Cleaning gets easier when you remember it's a thing you're doing to make your life less miserable, and not a thing you're doing as punishment

i feel like "men's spaces" are always going to turn into woman-hate. similar to how the time i was told i should attend a "queer white allies group" to learn about local actions and things i could do to support BLM protests, and it turned into a ton of navel gazey shit about how hard it is to cope with guilt, rather than actually doing anything materially useful. like this is true of trans man exclusive spaces, gay man exclusive spaces, disabled man exclusive spaces. a "white queers group" is gonna start reinforcing white supremacy. same with any kind of male exclusive group and misogyny.
my silly lesbians
Holy shit I need this wtf

Making this post on my day off bc I have no idea how I'm gonna get to work in the morning
Starting tomorrow at 6 am I'm scheduled to work for the next 6 days in a row
I do not get paid til Thursday and I'm in the negative almost $100 after some unexpected expenses
At $20 a day for ubers that means I need at least $100 to make it to payday and keep my job since management is discriminatory to my disability
Anything helps. I need at least $20 ASAP by tonight
CA: $sleepyhen or $lezsalt
Vm: wildwotko
Dm 4 PPL
$45/100 so far!!
Please keep this going!! I'm very worried about getting to work!
Hey, oomfies! This Eid, let’s spread some more love to Gaza. Grassroots orgs there are doing incredible work despite the many limitations...getting food, meds, and shelter to families who’ve lost everything. Even a few bucks can make a real difference. Donate the cost of a coffee!
i was preparing a wet specimen one day and my dad was like this reminds me of my work buddy who ties dollar store balloons to roadkill and watches them fly away. and i had to drop everything for a second and say no. no i dont think this is like that
this really is the image of all time. its more than just a picture it's like a sister to me
Not that it's anything new, but the "voluntary" in "voluntary migration" really drives home the utter shamelessness of the occupation.
They destroy Gazan homes, hospitals, schools, roads, universities, infrastructure, cut off their water and electricity, then when they have no choice but to escape the hell that was created for them, claim they "voluntarily" chose to leave their land behind and have no right to return.
When Nakba deniers claim that Palestinians "chose" to leave their land, remember this.
Amal's baby daughter, Mariam, has known no childhood outside of surviving this genocide. She will soon be of age to attend school. Last we spoke, she had a very close call during the most recent bombardment. If she wants to give her daughter a chance at normalcy, security, education, and a decent childhood, but those options have been taken away from Gaza, is this voluntary migration?
Mahmoud wants to continue his education. He has been able to scrape by through remote learning online, but every day it becomes harder to even find reliable internet access. Last we spoke, he was trying to pay his fees in time, so that he would be allowed to enroll in this semester. If he wants to pursue his degree, but the conditions in Gaza have made that impossible, is this voluntary migration?
Dr. Anas is a cancer patient. His physical and mental health have been obliterated by this genocide. Last we spoke, he told me that after making some recovery during the ceasefire, he's now back to square one. If he wants to live, to continue his job as a doctor, and to recover from depression, which is impossible to do during bombardment, is this voluntary migration?
Samir is severely injured, and in immediate danger of losing his leg. Last we spoke, his sister told me that the bombardment in their area are more intense than they've ever been. If Samir wants to undergo surgery to save his leg, but there are no such options in Gaza, is this voluntary migration?
Please don't abandon them like our administrations have. They shouldn't have to rely on our generosity, but they must.

domming is so stressful like what if i'm not selling it. what if i suck at this and she's just whimpering and barking to make me feel better
I didn’t see this link in the reblogs but I love Mercury and she has a book out called “Safe & Sound: A Renter-Friendly Guide to Home Repair”. She is one of those beautiful souls who love to teach people new skills with compassion and joy, instead of putting down others for not having knowledge about (what others may consider basic home repairs and DIY.
I love this lady. She's like a friendly big sister here to show you how to do stuff.
