a complete unknown (2024, directed by james mangold) - not necessarily a typical favourite of mine, but it's the closest we've come to a throam movie so.
day for night (1973, directed by françois truffaut) - what can i say, films about film just have a certain je ne sais quoi. also the music made me cry, shout out to denis villeneuve talking about it in an interview <3
merry christmas, mr. lawrence (1983, directed by nagisa oshima) - another cry movie for me, and another amazing score. we have a theme here i think
sunset boulevard (1950, directed by billy wilder) - watched it for david lynch and was very pleasantly surprised. also never in my life would i have guessed that was william holden, he just has a face i forget immediately lol
