i’m sure people can tell by my games, i’m really into paleo stuff (Ediacaran & Cambrian). What sucks is there’s organisms that predate those eras but not even the most obsessive paleo fan gives two damns about the elusive Tonian seaweed.

Making fan art isn’t even that hard. It’s just spheres.

Mermaids and sirens are such fun magical figures to consider. They get to be wild, sexy, and powerful. Meanwhile humans on land just get pushed around and assimilated by people who think only Photoshop is sexy.

I miss the feeling of sand under my toes, and the waves lapping in to bury me deeper and deeper. I miss how my ankles would itch when the saltwater started to dry.

But if I had those feelings, I'd be missing the wild wind and crunchy maple leaves flying all around. The joy and misery of the muddy spring. The smelly flowers that grow along cold, shallow streams.
