"Name, not title," says The Doctor—like ma'am you can not be talking right now.
The TARDIS had something against Graham's chair—or better yet, Sutekh did.
Despite the fact it is a golden fanfic plot, there is not a single blind thirteen fic on ao3. I think we should fix that
Eloise and Thirteen were co-workers, unfortunately for the first and last time, because the chances of death by bubble wrap are slim but never zero.
Anthony robbed a bank with Twelve, as one does naturally—alongside a group of complete strangers, all with no memory or clue about what it is they're supposed to be stealing. Just your average Tuesday.
Lady Danbury was Martha’s mum, and as the expert matchmaker she is, she instantly knew Ten was not the guy for Martha—she gave him a 10 but without the 1
"Am I ginger?" "Still not ginger."
When you've already been ginger but can't remember.
(I could go on and on about how the Doctor's obsession with being ginger is a trauma response—a subconscious need to return to the happier times as Brendan, where they had two loving parents and a normal human life, even if it was all fabricated in the end—but I'll keep it short for now.)
imagine you are the doctor. you just came back from hiding yourself as a human using a chameleon arc. but it's fine, you've met a cute blonde woman who's been helping you out. you introduce yourself to her properly, hold her hand, and take her to your TARDIS, wanting to impress her, because that's what you do. turns out the woman is also you. this happened to the fugitive doctor
no because it's so funny the way Fugitive is so clearly trying to woo a new companion in her reveal scene. the know-it-all grin on her face when she grabs 13's hand says everything. you can see why she was so annoyed when she realised this person was her because oh no now i have to hate this blonde woman i was kinda hoping to befriend
Love love love characters that present themselves as emotionally open social butterflies but the more you see of them the more obvious it is that they’re the most closed off fuckers in the story. Sure, they want to help you with your personal problems and messy emotions, but if you turn that shit back on them, they’ll shut down or deflect every time. Why are you sticking your nose in their business anyway? It’s not like it matters. They’re not a person, they’re just a role being played. They’re the guy who fixes things and saves people. Please ignore the man behind the mask, he’s fine. Everything’s fine.
