Sophia's the name & loving Goro Akechi is my game! Persona 5 & Fire Emblem currently consume 95% of my waking thoughts. #i am about to go on a brief rant i apologize#I had to redraw this. three separate times. because the first program I did it in wouldn't export it at all (thankfully it was only a draft#but like wft right?) and then i had to do another draft & do the lines for the new one#and my dumb idiot ass ended up doing it in PHOTOSHOP for some reason. NEVER ANIMATE IN PHOTOSHOP IF YOU CAN HELP IT#i hate it. SO much. When i was doing my senior project a few years ago I told my advisors i was going to do it in flash. and i did.#but one of my senior project advisors was like 'you should do it in photoshop! it's better quality!'#and i had to restrain myself from being like 'i would literally rather die. you could shoot me and it would be preferable'#and i am remembering why I felt that way!!!!!!!! grits teeth#psa to all artists out there. dont. animate in photoshop. or if you do please let me know how you deal with no onionskin. ugh#anyway im sorry about that rant lol. im happy with how this came out and i hope you are too! ^^;#thank you again for commissioning me :) hope you have a lovely rest of your evening!#i am slowly. slowly chugging along again. i apologize once again for the wait on the comms

Now that I've reached my goal of +10ing my boy, and since my time is (unfortunately) still quite limited due to work, I'm going to be closing comms tomorrow! So, if you have an idea and haven't decided if you want to commit or not yet, now's your last chance for the time being! ;) And to all those who have already paid, I know I do still have quite a few to get through- I was a FOOL to think I could just bang these out in 24 hours, lol, but please rest assured they will be coming within the next few days!! I'll get through them slowly but surely. Admittedly I did take a break to draw this guy because I was so pleased to get him, but I'll get right back on the horse tomorrow lol. #if you're wondering why I drew him with gullveig's serpents its bc i immediately fed my free gullveig to him xD flare sparrow + oath 4 yum#and then gave him her accessory for forging bonds so i can use him to grind bonus affection & sp lmaooooo#and while i wish they'd given us gullveig/seidr's floatie rocks as an accessory i love the broken halo-y look of the one they did. its neat#anyway i just love the idea that when you inherit a skill to a hero they gain a little bit of the sacrificed units traits. :)#Oops! Gained a little more than you bargained for there! Everything good comes at a cost- but the Order doesn't tell you until its too late#It's absolutely eating at him btw. he is now Experiencing Visions. a human's mind is not meant to interpret gullveig's cyclical nature#and i think its difficult for him to tell the present/what once was apart from what has yet to be/never was.#like watching two movies at once on the same screen! :) + hc that he gets the little floatie crystals when he's having strong visions#also lmao ferdie now sets EVERYTHING on fire. flame emperor who?#you can tell he's been somewhere bc he leaves singed footprints behind if he's not careful :)#GOD ANYWAY IM SORRY LOL too much random info. i'm done i promise. thank you so so much again if you supported me!!! <3#i hope you have a fantastic rest of your day/evening!!! & keep an eye out if you're still waiting on art :)

No no, no worries!! It's absolutely fine! The refs you provided are fantastic, I should be able to do it for ya no prob :) I will probably still run how they look by you before I animate anything, though, so that I'm sure they're correct before going further! :)

If you've ever thought "Gee, I wish she'd draw [so-and-so]," NOW is your time to act!! For a short while, until I am able to +10 my boy, I'm opening a Ferdinand Fund by way of some quick & cheap commissions!

By "quick & cheap," I do mean quick and cheap- toss me $5 on KoFi and I'll draw whatever you want! I don't honestly anticipate getting too many so if you do request one, as long as it's not too complicated it'll most likely be done within 24 hrs. I'm also not going to go crazy w/ clean lines- they'll most likely look like the above in quality.

Hey gang! Not sure how many people even really look at this blog anymore, but for anyone still around, I just wanted to let y’all know:

So I know my blog turned into a persona 5 blog for a hot while. And I DO still love the game! But honestly, I’m kind of out of steam in terms of creating content for it, which I’m sure you might have guessed due to the length of time between each post ^^; This might change when I eventually decide to replay it again, lol, but that won’t be for a bit- my hours at my job are weird, and it doesn’t leave me with a lot of free time, and what I do have I’m spending in other ways.

But yeah. All that to say that I started this blog as just a generic art blog so that I’d have somewhere to track the progress of my art, and I think I’m gonna turn it back into that- so expect some non-persona art going forward. I’m sorry to all you folks who followed me for the persona stuff! There will still be some p5 stuff for sure but... for the forseeable future, it’s just gonna be random stuff of mine.

I purposefully tried to keep it short. it was a challenge and it still ended up being 3 pages. but i blame my canvas size#also in case u can't see what akira is holding out to akechi: theyre chocolate covered strawberries on sticks!#i saw them irl and was like oh god i want those. i am going to project that feeling on my favorite characters so help me god#and now! here we are! but my shitty-ass coloring & line quality make it hard to discern them so. sorry about that lmaooooo#ANYWAY i don't do enough post-maruki stuff so. i made this one a little bittersweet. :)#why did i put akechi's scarf in a bow? honestly i dont know! i think i saw some art a while ago that did that too and i thought it was cute#well. plus i guess there's the symbolism of 'akechi being alive and reciprocating your feelings (however involuntarily) IS a gift' part#hence that hes wrapped up in a bow. like a present. :)#also god. the first panel is supposed to be akechi's reflection in a vending machine window.
