Hello!

I'm Taavi (he/him) and this is a sideblog dedicated to canines.

My main blog is @youplush !

SFW INTERACTIONS ONLY

I've always felt very connected to dogs, even feeling like I was born in the wrong body. I know I was supposed to be a dog... specifically a German shepherd and wolf mix.

I experience dysphoria relating to my human body, and it's something that I struggle with a lot.

Sometimes I can even feel phantom dog parts, such as a tail or pointy teeth.

I don't know much about therianthropy, but I assume that's what I am dealing with. I'd be interested in learning more about it if you'd like to share!

Thanks for reading! Let's be friends :3

This is so hard to explain, but I was wondering if any other nonhumans have had a similar experience???

Basically sometimes I enter this state where I feel like a puppy. I call this "going puppymode".

It's like I can't really talk well or think straight. My brain is focused on puppy thoughts only. I need to be treated like I'm a puppy... I can't really explain it well because my brain is really messed up when this happens.

I think this is weird for me, because I usually don't feel like this. I'm not a fan of physical touch. I don't like being near people. I don't want to be treated like some dumb puppy.

But in puppymode I desperately need someone to like keep me safe and calm almost?

I think this could be some sort of delusion or hallucination, but I'm not sure. Maybe a trauma response? An autism thing perhaps?

Puppymode usually happens when I'm upset, but sometimes it's random.

THIS IS NOT A SEXUAL THING. I AM ASEXUAL.

i love you green. i love you forests. i love you smell of damp earth. i love you feeling before the storm breaks. i love you moss. i love you rivers. i love you streams. i love you thunderstorms. i love you sunlight shining through leaves.
