Welp, here's what some of the animation looks like so far..
I'll just share what I already have on my Instagram. If some of you are really that interested in this, I recommend going over to my IG where I share a more on my story. This whole thing has become a massive project, so it's hard to post everything I've come up with on all platforms.
There's so much more—I won't be able to make all of the scenes of the entire story into an animation.
I'll also have to finish the newest chapter for my fic because there will be a reference to it in the animation—the WIP for the chapter is in my story highlights if you wanna read it.
This animation is technically part 2, aka the epilogue to a first part that is much more ambitious. The "first" part will take place in the forest setting, while part 2—the one I'm working on—will take place after certain events.
It's funny how even after I finish this one you all are still gonna be in the dark about what happened, unless you manage to pick up on the hints.

It's not a direct continuation of the main piece I posted last, but rather a "what if?" Obviously this would take place elsewhere (in reality) but what if Satoru had the chance to be there for Suguru sooner?

This is a reference to an animation I'm working on. I've only been keeping my Instagram in the loop about this fact, so sorry for the abruptness ✋😭
The room here represents Suguru’s mind and how he is stuck seeing things a certain way. The window behind him represents reality—hence the blue color that reflects the forest setting (in the animation) where particular events happen that Suguru is stuck on. He literally has his back turned to “reality” not because he wants to, but because he’s scared to face it and what doing so could imply.
Edit: Something else I thought of, though it may be a reach, is that since Satoru's eyes are closed, the color of the window could also symbolize his eyes and what his attention is on-reality. If Satoru is mentally outside then he can only look through the window-never being able to fully understand/see Suguru's view.
I'm curious, does Suguru live somewhere in a field or forest? It doesn't seem like he's in the city. 🤔 Also, before meeting tiny Satoru, did he live alone? What did he do most of the time there? And what about his parents? Did he have a fight with them and that's why he's alone?.... wait.... don't tell me that in this AU Suguru also repeated the massacre of his parents and is now on the run, having left the city for some remote place in the fields where he will probably start his weird cult and the first victim is little Satoru?? >:□
Well I’ve said a million times now that the AU is inspired by Arrietty, so Suguru lives in a house that’s more remote, so it's a little far from town. It has a pretty big backyard, and there are forests around. I’ve thought before about how it would actually be Yaga’s house, and he’s either Suguru’s guardian or Suguru moved there from his parents, or was going to house-sit for Yaga while he was gone.
Now for Satoru, his case is more confusing to nail down. But I think it’s realistic that—just like the movie it’s inspired by—Satoru lives under that house, where he's simply trying to survive most of the time.
Now on his parents, I actually asked in a poll on Instagram if they should even live with him:
As I said, If his parents did live with him, It would be great for conflict (especially if they found out about him interacting with Suguru) But once Satoru's relationship developed with him I can't imagine his parents serving a further purpose—they'd probably just get in the way at that point.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think in that case the best choice would to be to have them move out of the house with Satoru choosing to stay behind—whitch could have ended in a fight.
Also there are no curses or power system in this AU, so Suguru didn't massacre a village or start a cult😭

Yeah, he probably would😭 but Gojo knows and trusts him too much for it to truly feel threatening¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have seen you on Insta, and I truly seems your art style beautiful! The colors, the texture, the designs, it's very comforting and homey, especially the landscape scenes, which are very calming. 🫠🤌
Personally, what I like the most and what has caught my attention is the fact hat, unlike other artists, you don't include serious or degrading sexual content. Whether it's because you don't like it or you're embarrassed to draw it, this has made a significant difference in what your art conveys, making your works appear healthy and unique.⚘️

With all that other art out there, it’s nice to focus on the more wholesome side of romance.
