Just finished my 7th story for 7 upcoming Good Omens fanfiction/fanart bangs!! I've written over 70,000 words so far on stories that will be released starting at the end of this month!

Okay, but hear me out.
Aziraphale and the Metatron leave the lift, the Metatron leads them to an office, wordlessly and with a tight expression. Only once they are inside, door closed, the Voice of god deflates onto a chair, somewhat relieved. Aziraphale is pointed to another chair, sits at the edge, like a naughty student sent to the headteacher's office. 'Right, now listen carefully,' the Metatron says in a conspiratory voice. 'This room is fully warded, absolutely no one can listen in on our conversations here. Well, apart from the Almighty, of course, but I prefer to believe she's on our side. So! You don't want the world to end,' (Aziraphale stiffens at that), 'I don't want it to end either,' (wait, what?) 'Satan himself doesn't want it to end, what with his own kid still out there.' 'Satan?!' Aziraphale gasps, but his mind is sharp enough to process the implications immediately. 'You're in cahoots with Satan?!' 'Of course I'm in cahoots with Satan!' the Metatron puffs. 'The Supreme Archangel elopes with the Grand Duke of Hell, the chief guardian angel of humanity does what ever it is you've been doing with hell's plenipotentiary since the dawn of creation, the Archangel Michael has Dagon and Ligur on bloody speed-dial… What sort of situation did you think this was?' Aziraphale doesn't know which part of that to address first. 'I, uh…' 'Right,' the Metatron doesn't bother giving him room to speak. 'So! As far as I can tell, it isn't humanity being tested, it's us. Just like you said during Armageddon, it's all about the ineffable plan. The armies and the administrations want this war to happen so badly, they would impeach both me and Satan if we were to simply stop them, convinced that we're rebelling against god's word. But now that you're back in heaven, that miracle aptitude of yours will be just what we need!' 'What miracle aptitude?!' Aziraphale gasps. He's been feeling dizzy for a while now. 'Don't play coy with me,' the Voice rolls his eyes. 'Twenty five lazarii? If I were to perform a miracle of this magnitude, it would put me out of commission for half a millennium at least! And you, there you were prancing about your little street the very same day like it was nothing!' 'But it wasn't my miracle!' Aziraphale protests and his subconscious is already working out just how terribly things have gone wrong. 'It was mine and Crowley's! It was joint!' The Metatron freezes. Blinks several times while facts slot themselves into place and conclusions formulate. Finally, he groans and slams his forehead into his desk.
And the rest of the story is the Metatron playing the most awkward Cupid for Aziraphale to win Crowley back while they both try their best to delay Heaven and Hell's endevours to launch the Second Coming.
This is DELICIOUS and with your permission I’ll get right to it!
No worries, faithful ABC readers — I’m currently drafting ch 18, so the updates will not be in any danger. And I’ll do my best to keep this one relatively short. (…Of course, “relatively short” is in itself a relative term… 🤣)
I love the premise ! Can y’all tag me if something comes out of it ? This sounds hilarious, probably unrealistic but god do I think this would be a great fix-it, especially for Metatron’s character 🙏✨🐍🪽

Today, Supreme Archangel Aziraphale finally managed to tear himself away from Archive Of Our Own - bestowing blessings upon it as he did so, of course - and realised with a dramatic gasp that he had been completely immersed in the delights of fanfiction for weeks!
It should have shocked Aziraphale that not one single person had noticed his absence - but it didn’t, not really.
There was only one person who’d ever noticed anything about him at all.
Aww!! And same Aziraphale I also got stuck in the AO3 vortex 😆
Look at him go! I’m sure Crowley is ;P
A silly idea that I started at the end of last year and finally finished thanks to a push from @do-it-with-style-events’s Spring Cleaning event!

In interviews, Michael Sheen expressed particular joy at playing with Aziraphale's love of magic. And who wouldn't? Fell the Marvelous is delightful.
Here are some wonderful tales putting the spotlight on Aziraphale (and yes, even Crowley's) skills (or lack thereof) as a magician.
In Star Crossed (T) by AppleSeeds, rock musician Anthony Crowley and stage magician Aziraphale Fell are booked for a radio interview show that specializes in partnering subjects from different worlds. The banter is OFF THE CHARTS! Because, of course, Crowley can't resist the most charming performer in the world. And Aziraphale gives as good as he gets.
Aziraphale is an under-confident stage magician performing at children's birthday parties who meets his hero, successful stage magician Anthony Crowley in The Invisible Touch (T) also by AppleSeeds. This fic features flirty fun with an insider's tips about the world of performance magic.
And let's give one more shout out to AppleSeeds for The Invisible Gorilla (T), a creative story in which Crowley is an environmental scientist whose department hires magician Aziraphale to teach students how to engage the public more creatively with their research. Lovely depiction of Aziraphale as a creative and competent magician.
But You'll Look Sweet...(G) by @ghostinthehouse is one of the 100-part Demon and Angel Professors series I've recommended before. In this short fic, our favorite pair perform a musical magic act in which they declare the love they normally hide from their first-year students. What more could you want than beautiful, gender-fluid Crowley and enthusiastic, magical Aziraphale singing to each other in less than 1000 words? I adored Jiggery Pokery (T) by @dragonfire42 with art by @bjs4bildad. Told from the POV of Prof Hoffman who hires angel Aziraphale to edit his upcoming work on magic for beginners. I laughed out loud at the kind Prof's description of Aziraphale's amazing enthusiasm not matched by his skill. The writer does actual stage magic, giving this work even more charm.
@hermiola wrote the charming When Hell Freezes Over (T) in which Crowley is a Peter Vincent-style magician and Aziraphale is the entertainment journalist who interviews him for an article. Love the characterizations for our pair, a particular strength of this fic writer.
