just catching up with 9-1-1 and saying 'i don't have to sleep with everyone i have feelings for and i don't have to have feelings for everyone i sleep with' is an absolutely crazy thing to say when you're trying to prove you don't like someone else omg what would actually possess you to say that 😭

just finished the ragpicker king and i need the next book immediately please, literally read the last hundred pages with my mouth agape and shaking my head

also i loved the new characters and i really hope we see more of anjelica and laurent aden (who i'm convinced is really cas) in the next book

sunrise on the reaping has been on my mind since i've read it so i wrote a review to help me cope - i've tried to make it as spoiler free as possible but i'm also paranoid so go in with caution!

a thing that i particularly love about the hunger games prequels is how it shows that people have been fighting against the games since their inception

when i was younger and read the original trilogy for the first time i was so bothered how it was 74 years of games, i remember thinking how could it have gone on so long without anyone doing anything

these prequels highlight that people have been fighting from the get-go: lucy gray's defiance, reaper ripping down panem's flags to cover the fallen tributes, haymitch's games and how many others shared his ideologies - the capitol just drowns them out, they rewrite their stories so their efforts are forgotten

liberation takes time and it's built upon the actions of those in the past

just finished sunrise on the reaping and it's crazy how in spite of knowing everyone's fate it was still devastating

everyone focussing on buck, eddy and maddy in the most recent 9-1-1 episode but the only thing i was able to focus on was that little beagle

everyone being mean about langdon like 'we were rooting for you', i'm still rooting for him!! leave me out of it!

every new episode of grey's anatomy feels like they're holding me hostage, me stopping is out of the question however as i have not watched 21 seasons of a show to give up now, i just need them to do better and inject whatever sauce they put in the earlier seasons
