Can I just admit something? Scorpius is my favorite HP character.

WELL...... he may not be skilled like his daddy (like AT ALL.. Draco at his age could wipe the floor with him w/o a sweat) but he is:
- sweet
- dorky
- innocent
- compassionate/kind
- silly
- earnest
- sensitive (crying at 14 bc he can't see Albus is just the sweetest thing..)
- seems a bit on the spectrum
- intelligent
- a cinnamon roll. And I'm a sucker for cinnamon rolls. >///<
- Gay. xD I can't get enough of Scorpius's interactions with Albus.

to those of you who are moving here from tiktok, from someone whos used both tiktok and tumbr for years...
1. DO NOT censor your posts
dont censor sex, abuse, suicide, dont censor it. we dont have censors like tiktok does, you wont be banned for talking about these things and tagging them properly helps people avoid them (also, we dont have shadowbanning here)
2. we dont really have an algorithm
you follow who you follow, and you see posts from who you follow or what you search. the 'for you page' is basically useless here. this also brings me to my next two points
3. dont crosstag
we get it, on tiktok you have to crosstag for reach, but thats not really a thing here. just tag your posts properly (also posters often leave more info about the post in the tags!! and when you reblog stuff you can leave your own notes in the tags, kind of like the old "repost comments" on tiktok)
4. dont expect to go viral/be famous
"viral" isnt really a thing on here (at least not for the average blogger). your posts will probably get 2-10 likes and you wont get nearly as many followers than on tiktok. thats just how tumblr is
5. blocking is your best friend
tiktok is VERY discussion based, and while tumblr is much more discussion based than other social medias, its still not a good place for ragebait/discourse. dont interact, itll make your experience worse in the end, just block and move on
6. you cant go into someone elses house and start rearranging their furniture
this is tumblr, not tiktok. dont diss old tumblr users for how they use the site or try to change them, thats like going into someone elses house and trying to rearrange their furniture. we've been here longer and we're familiar with the site and its culture, either find your niche, adapt, or find a different app
Another important point
You need to actually reblog posts for this site to work as it should.
Liking posts only saves them in a spot that no one checks except for the user who liked them. Most people have their liked posts hidden.
Also, this site has a spam bot problem. One way we weed those out is to check the blog to see if it's actually being used to post legitimate content. If there is absolutely nothing on your blog you're getting blocked and some users may just straight up report you as spam as a precaution.
Not to mention that the posts you reblog will only be seen by you and whoever follows you. Tagging it "fyp" does absolutely nothing.
okay except i was literally shadowbanned by tumblr who thought my acct was a spam acct for some reason & the mods apologized after i contacted them once i realized none of my posts were showing up in the tags!! ;u;

Okay so some Harry Potter opinions/hot take
- I love Wolfstar, Deamus, and Scorbus (and TBH WE ALL KNOW WE ONLY READ THE CURSED CHILD SCRIPT BECAUSE OF THEM?!!??) Too much and if you want to fight or criticize me about go argue with the wall ๐โโ๏ธ๐
- Deamus is very canon in our eyes. Don't fight with me ๐โโ๏ธ
- I didn't like the TCC plot itself (idk who does tbh) but I like the fact that Albus and Scorpius are like two outcasts I relate to them a lot personally...sorry.
- Ron wasn't dumb, really. Well he isn't the book smart kind, but he knows how to get his way in most situations ๐โโ๏ธ
- Lavender Brown DESERVES better and I don't understand why she is so hated (probably because she was dating Ron, BUT LIKE c'mon guys weren't they just teenagers? Don't act like you don't have crushes too ๐๐๐- well unless you're aromantic ๐ )
- OH AND ALSO CHO CHANG. I feel bad for her because she hasn't moved on but Cedric but still she is so hated for some reason????
- I couldn't really understand why Ginny dated Dean? I assumed she did that for casual dating, for fun, or to make Harry jealous(?) Idk (oh and also off topic but I have read many fanfics about jealous! Seamus towards Dean and Ginny's relationship and I love them lollll)
- But I personally think if Ginny still likes Harry but still dated Dean anyway- I don't know why she would do it just for her and Dean to break up? NOT BECAUSE I think Ginny shouldn't date Dean, but Dean probably thought him and Ginny were in a serious relationship and stuff-
- I haven't picked up the books for a very long time but did Harry use the Felix Felicis only to make Ginny and Dean break up? Or are any other factors to that? (Because if so, I think it's kinda mean but I understand the jealousy)
- HERMIONE DEFINITELY KNEW GINNY HAD A CRUSH ON HARRY/VICE VERSA BEFORE ANYONE ELSE DID ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
- Everyone in the fandom IS a real fan and no one is lesser of a Harry Potter fan than the other
- The movies lacked a lot but I enjoy it anyways..
- People mostly ship drarry, dramione, Blairon, etc not necessarily because they HAVE chemistry, but because of what they could have been or become and the amount of "tension" that they have (which is not necessarily a good romantic tension but rather about their obsession with each other?)
- I don't ship these ships above but I can kinda understand (?) Why people do?
- You can be anti drarry, anti dramione, drarry shipper, dramione shipper, wolfstar shipper, jegulus shipper and more (anti) ships WITHOUT personally harrasing...yk...the PEOPLE who ship them. Some of you cyberbully real people over fictional characters...sorry

brooo so like i literally ship Scorbus SO DANG MUCH AND I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE SCORPIUS! like soooo much. He's actually secretly my fave HP character. XD Compared to his dad and the Golden Trio he's got like, zero skills, but it's his personality that does it for me. ha I'm a sucker for the sweet cinnamon roll types.
