Hmmmm. . . . .

I think the first time would be a bit of a disaster, if I'm being honest XD

They have no clue how to work together, because a.) it's been a while since any of them have worked with an actual team (excluding Mikey, and Donnie too I suppose. . .) and b.) these versions of their brothers aren't the same brothers they grew up with.

Not to mention the severe PTSD of the older three.

The only people Mikey's ever really been on a team with before were April and Cassandra.

His brothers are a completely different situation, who quite frankly can easily be triggered by something in the heat of a fight.

It's been at least 5ish years since Leo's even had a social interaction with another intelligent life form (Kraangified people without a Kraang Prime to lead them aren't exactly the most sociable creatures around.) And it's been at least 20ish years since the vast majority of the fights he's been in haven't been to the death.

Raph? Every time he tries to fight someone he feels like he's going back to when he was under the Kraang's control. They didn't just use him to kill his family. He was one of their most powerful soldiers, a resource they weren't afraid to utilize. It may not have been Raph's fault, but the idea of adding more blood on his hands still haunts him.

And Donnie's experiences with the Shredder and everything after that have turned him more into tech support. It's become a bit of a mental block for him, to the point that in many situations, he would be more a hindrance than an actual asset.

Attempts have been made, yes. (Most have proven to be unsuccessful.)

Basically the only bits Barry's been able to remove were around his head, which had never properly attached thanks to Raph's mask.

If I can be honest, I have no idea when they would be comfortable to do that. Probably not for a while (which is a bit sad to think about TvT)

Mikey would of course be all for it. In fact, I can see him being the one to initiate it. . .

Leo would probably be pretty chill with it, especially if the rest of his brothers wanted to. He's missed the little things. He's missed them a lot.

It's mostly Donnie and Raph that would have a hard time with turtle piles.

Donnie was never big on physical contact, even less so now with everything he's been through. For a long time, he tries to keep himself from getting attached to this new family of his (something he fails miserably at by the way.)

And it's not that Raph wouldn't want to. His love language is touch, and growing up, it was one of his favorite things. But he's been so scared to hurt everyone again that he's been depriving himself of the thing that comforts him the most.

These two are working on it though, and the bros get closer every day to the time when they can finally have a turtle pile <3

Which is something I'm looking forward to drawing at some point, because I LOVE THE TURTLE PILES SO MUCH-

This is actually surprisingly difficult to answer :')

It hurts my heart too much to think they would never be able to see their loved ones again. I also have no idea how different timelines would effect the afterlife.

But I just can't imagine an afterlife where they wouldn't be with their families again.

I have done some thinking on the hamato-ninpo-comunication thing, and I like to think it kind of works sort of like a telephone. Seeking after the individual will guide you to them, or them to you.

For your question, it was a little bit of both. I mean, Donnie knows Raph would never hurt him. Ever.

But Dee's been through a lot, has been hurt by a lot of people he thought he could trust, and pushing aside his own anxieties and fears isn't exactly something that comes easy to him.

He knows how strong Raphael is, knows the potential risks because he's made it his business to know the potential risks.

The thing that scares Donnie the most doesn't have anything to do with Raph's capabilities.

He likes wearing it underneath his clothes, because a.) it helps hide the fact that he has a softshell underneath, and b.) it makes it harder for someone to take it off him against his will.

To answer the question, yes, it's kinda like royalty in a sense. Big Mama's a really influential lady with a lot of money under her name. The rich life is something the boys are gonna have to get used to, now that the world knows of Big Mama's new kids.

And that's not even diving into the attention the fam gets what with the media discovering Splinter is Lou Jitsu, and Baron Draxum's scientific breakthroughs over the years.
