does anyone who's got some cooking know how know what's what in this dish?

I'mma remake it, but for the life of me cannot work out where tf a candy cane and corn are hiding in this - unless it's a slight mistranslation?

my assumption is the candy cane might be a mint/peppermint/wintergreen mint sauce, and might be called candy cane because it was a seasonal christmas item.

The corn might be corn syrup, or is a reference to the small waffle cones, maybe they were made out of corn?

these are just guesses, i have no way of reading that text.

Edit: it might also be related to that pile of blue. I would assume that this was chocolate that was on wax paper, frozen, and pit on the plate as decoration. But maybe that is the “candy cane”, and its more like a mint sugar decoration?

Oh, i should probably be more specific about my guess:

It looks like an apple pie topped with a chunk of mango, and some mango pieces to the side. It is tipped with two small ice cream cones that may or may not be filled with something, and stuck together with whipped cream.

These ice cream cones might be the “corn” that the item lists. They are attached to a dollop of whipped cream on the pie. Theres something on the edge of one of the cones, possibly a tiny bit of mango syrup. I do not know if thats a accident or intentional.

There is a vanilla ice cream scoop topped with mango syrup. There is either a second scoop of whipped topping or vanilla ice cream, topped with mango fruit and a mint. There is a bright blue sugar candy drizzle thing, usually made by pouring hot sugar or chocolate over a certain paper and freezing it. (This is either wax paper, parchment paper, or a silicone mat. Its one of the three but i don’t recall which is the proper one. ) the image on the picture looks like its a sugar drizzle. this sugar drizzle might be the candy cane mentioned in the ingredients, implying it has a mint favoring as well.

Sugar art like this can be extremely dangerous, and can cause terrible burns. Everyone should be extremely careful with sugar art. I personally might replace the blue sugar art with shaved mint chocolate, or something similar, just to avoid the burn risk myself.

Everything is all sitting on a pool of syrup. Presumably the labeled apple sauce.

Work vacuum died. This is the fifth one since I started working here five years ago.

The first one died because my coworker vacuumed up rocks.

The second one died because my coworker vacuumed up rocks.

The third one died because my coworker vacuumed up rocks.

The fourth one died for unknown reasons that involved my coworker vacuuming up rocks.

The fifth one died a few minutes ago and it was a big mystery and my coworker was like “oh I don’t know what happened it just overtaxed for some reason” so I looked inside the hose and—get this—it was jammed with rocks.

He keeps buying bigger and more expensive vacuums and complaining about how shitty and faulty the last ones were and every time I suggest something like “what if you didn’t vacuum up rocks” he’s like oh no it is the vacuums who are wrong.
