ughhhhhh something about victini just being seen superficially as more of a good luck charm than a minor deity! or the god of "victory"!....or maybe even just as a person?
him never being able to live up to what others expect of him. himself included! but only being held to that high regard when hes already disappointed everyone. yet again.
arceus originally creating him not as a surefire sign of victory... but as a way of telling pokemonkind "youll get through this. you can overcome anything." ....and that being twisted into something so dark so quickly...
...and how disappointing it must be to then see the one meant to inspire that resilience... fail again and again w that himself...
