A little art drop! It's the dimension jumping city that acts as a main hub and shopping district, and the inexperienced clerk that will help you settle in when you first arrive at Umbra (and her pet)! Maybe. That's the plan right now, anyway. I might redesign them all! >: D

I've started solo prototyping a virtual pet site. Why? I LOVE THEM. I love virtual pet sites! And I don't think anyone has made one with 3D pets yet. I have a (at this point) loooong background as a technical artist so I figured finally I'll have a go at it.

You can try out the prototype at umbra.pet, I will update and improve it over time and post some musings here; if you're a fan of these kinds of games I'd love to talk to you! Feel free to ask questions on the blog!

I drew an andalite too because people seemed to really enjoy the hork-bajir! Sometimes I feel like I'm just posting into the void but this wasn't one of those times. I'm still not understanding Tumblr but I saw all of the reblogs and your nice tags on them and...appreciation andalite for you. ❤️

I found that podcast that retells all of the animorphs books and fell into a nostalgia pit...had to reimagine a hork-bajir in their original habitat before the jerks got to them. Poor botanist dinos :(

I’ve been watching Old Gods of Appalachia and had to doodle. This is probably already a bit inaccurate in terms of how they look (keep learning more about them as they show up!) but here’s a guy that works for the railway trying to sell you a job and the good mother as she’s strollin’ through the woods
