I could draw them, even write my own fanfic about them, because I think the ship can be taken to interesting directions. The reason why I won’t is because of the people who are oversensitive about this Telemachus x Antinous ship and I don’t want, nor have the energy to deal with the stupid hate thats source is ignorance, the fact that many take the EPIC adaptation with the mention of SA canon and most likely have never read the Odyssey (in which Telemachus is a sassy bad b!tch and literally tells Penelope in front of the suitors to go back to her room and work), and that they try to pull today’s norm onto the 12th century B.C. The suiters still did bad things to the maids tho, in the actual odyssey , and some people who dont like the ship may be victims of that stuff or have family or friends that are. So i dont think there being oversensitive.

You are right in this case, I apologise, I should have phrased that part differently.

Obviously those who have experienced such things are NOT overreacting. But still, personal trauma doesn’t make it right to spread hate towards those who might like it/find the dynamic interesting. And in cases I’ve seen, the hate went towards the person who likes the ship and gets labelled as a bad person themselves. By oversentivive people I mean those who have no good reason, simply just decided to be hateful, because these noises were louder.

I’m not saying that you cannot criticize this ship, you can say about it whatever you’d like. I just believe that even while deeply disliking something, people could still be respectful and civilized when giving critique and argument without prejudice.
