also on other non-art-related goals I wanna dedicate more time to health this year! I looooove hiking and being in the outdoors in general but I was one of those people who spent way more time inwards and indoors and overeating during the pandemic (2 really hard losses in 2 years didn’t help) and YEEESH can I feel the difference. I get excited with the snow for traipsing through the woods more so.....wanting to do way more of that in 2023!

also fan art/personal art has been slow coming with work/moving/real live in general taking priority.... usually I need a new thing to grip my brain and right now that is GOW: Ragnarok (Almost done no spoilers please) but who knows when I’ll get around to fan art of that

cooking and chatting ✨🍗🥗🥕🔪

since 2021, my best friend and I have cooked together a few times a month over video chat. we take turns picking what we cook, compare our processes, and review our results all from afar. it's been one of the highlights of the past 2 years. not only has it made us way better cooks, it's also been a great way to have scheduled hangs when life gets busy. my friend and i haven't lived in the same area for a few years now, so cooking together has been a great way to stay in touch
